  This medical team is composed of the backbone of the clinical front-line business of Guang'anmen Hospital of the China Academy of Chinese Medical Sciences, and mainly relies on the Kosma China-Cambodia Friendship Hospital in Phnom Penh to carry out foreign aid tasks.

  Chang Geng, leader of the traditional Chinese medicine medical team aiding Cambodia, said that an important task of the medical team is to provide services for the “Belt and Road” projects and Chinese-funded enterprises in Cambodia. The Sihanoukville Special Economic Zone has many enterprises and densely populated areas. At the same time, this year is also the "Year of Cultural Exchanges between China and Cambodia". Traditional Chinese medicine is an important part of cultural exchanges between the two countries. They are very willing to do their best to care for and spread traditional Chinese medicine.

  At the event site, the free clinic was carried out in an orderly manner. The medical team members have a clear division of labor. Some are responsible for triage, some are responsible for internal medicine, and some are responsible for orthopedics. The Chinese and Cambodian employees who came for consultation lined up in an orderly manner. After a brief consultation by the medical staff at the triage station, they found the designated department based on the number plate distributed for further medical treatment.

  Horl Chanthy, 55, is a cleaner at the Sihanoukville Special Economic Zone Company. She said she felt pain from her back to her calves and hoped to get help from a doctor. After detailed consultation and identification of the pain points, Yuan Geng performed acupuncture on her smoothly. "Most of the patients coming today have neck, shoulder, waist and leg pain, and the fastest way to relieve it is acupuncture. If they have medical diseases such as hypertension, diabetes, etc., we have also prepared corresponding granular preparations and will guide the medication as needed."

  Horl Chanthy received acupuncture treatment for the first time, but she wasn't scared. After the acupuncture, she said she felt much better mentally and physically comfortable. She was very grateful to the Chinese doctors for coming and praised the miraculous curative effects of traditional Chinese medicine.

  In just one afternoon of free clinic, the medical team members diagnosed and treated more than 100 Chinese and Cambodian employees. Their unique traditional Chinese medicine techniques and traditional Chinese medicine conditioning methods also won recognition and praise from everyone.

  Yuan Geng said that the medical team will make full use of the Spring Festival holiday to provide free medical services to more Chinese-funded enterprises and Chinese and Cambodian employees in need.
