On February 10, the first day of the first lunar month of the lunar calendar, Jiang Bo, deputy foreman of the water channel work area of the Harbin Comprehensive Second Workshop of the Harbin Housing and Apartment Section of the China Railway Harbin Bureau Group Corporation, crawled in the dark, damp water wells and culverts to deliver food to passengers. Don't worry.

With the start of the Spring Festival travel rush, the passenger flow in Harbin has surged. The water consumption of trains has increased several times compared with the past, and the water demand of passengers has also increased. The water supply on the trains must be completed through the water hydrant equipment on the passenger cars.

Jiang Bo, 58, has worked on the railway for more than 30 years. He and his co-workers inspected the water plug equipment and the 6-meter-deep culvert on the platform of Harbin Station. Years of work experience have given him a clear understanding of the routes in his jurisdiction. The area under his jurisdiction has a water purification plant, 4 culverts with a depth of 6 meters, 36 water gates, and 189 water wells. Each water supply plug is installed in a 1.2-meter-deep water supply well. In order to prevent the water supply plug from freezing damage, the water supply equipment in the well needs to be inspected. Under extremely cold conditions in winter, it takes about half an hour to operate the skylight when a fault occurs. In order to complete the work, during the water test operation, their hands touched the cold water, and the biting cold air penetrated into the bone marrow. Their hands were instantly frozen and stiff. They had to constantly rub their hands to promote blood circulation, and put their hands in their pockets for a while before they could continue repairs. .

In order to shorten maintenance time and save costs, he and his colleagues also brainstormed ways to independently develop a solenoid valve maintenance test bench. Because the skylight operation time is limited, several repaired solenoid valves are prepared for each inspection and can be replaced at any time. Replace the broken one directly, and then take it back to the work area for inspection and repair on the solenoid valve maintenance equipment. This not only saves costs, shortens on-site maintenance time, but also improves the utilization rate of the solenoid valve.

When entering a culvert that is 6 meters deep, 150 meters long, and 4 meters wide for maintenance operations, he and his co-workers used a well hook to remove each 30-pound walking board. They first had to conduct an oxygen test before going down to work underground. Wearing a headlight, water boots, and a safety belt, he carefully drilled into the culvert along the escalator that was nearly 6 meters deep perpendicular to the ground. The inner wall of the inspection well was covered with thick frost. Every time he went up and down the well, Frost has fallen into the collar of the neck, and the cold air is biting. The feet are slipping, making people unable to stand stably. The straight ladder in the water supply well is erected at 90 degrees perpendicular to the ground. There is also a thin layer of frost on the steps. It is easy to step on them if you are not careful. When going down the well, you must be as dexterous as stepping on a tightrope. Go down step by step along the straight ladder into the culvert. In a dimly lit, humid and cold environment, check the water supply pipes and check whether there are any defects in the pipes through visual inspection, listening, tapping, etc. Leakage points and damage, if there is the sound of running water, prove that this pipeline is leaking, they will follow the water plugs on the buses in this pipeline to check, find the leakage point, and repair it.

He inspected nearly 60 water supply wells in one shift and walked more than 20,000 steps. Not only that, he was also responsible for the water supply maintenance and cold protection operations of the water tower at Binjiang Station, Zhaodong Station, and Shuangcheng Station, using their own In other words, arriving at the workplace is like an "alarm clock" that is wound up. There is no idle moment, even if there is a problem in any link, because ensuring the water demand of passenger trains is their top priority. As the Spring Festival transportation work began, he and his co-workers inspected the work more frequently. They wore heavy work clothes and climbed above and below the ground. He and his co-workers called themselves authentic warriors. Although they were not in the public eye, they played an indispensable role. underestimate.

Every time he came up after work and walked on the spacious and clean platform, he was deeply touched and said to the young workers around him, "In the past, the water pipes were coiled on the ground, which was unhygienic and unsightly. Now they are all new buses. The water faucet is automatically retracted and placed in the hose box. It has multiple plates. In the past, you had to open the valve manually to fill the water. Now you don’t have to. You can send water to the car with just a button. It is so convenient. We must keep up with the times. , otherwise the current solenoid valve water supply equipment is broken, and it will be impossible to handle it without some basic electrical skills." (End)
