She added - while carrying some of her late daughter's belongings - that she could not imagine how a child could see the scenes of corpses around her inside the car.
The martyr’s mother confirmed that she did not know how she would return to her home without her child, who, as she put it, dreamed of nothing more than returning home with her father and brother to eat pizza.
She described her last moments with her daughter, saying that she styled her hair and told her that it was the most beautiful thing she had ever seen on the day she died.
The body of the girl and five of her family members were found inside their car, which was bombed by the occupation, in the Tal al-Hawa area of Gaza City. The bodies of the two ambulance workers who tried to save her and were bombed by the occupation were also found.
Among the bodies found was the child Layan, who was killed by occupation soldiers while she was making an appeal to Red Cross employees 12 days ago.
