Another creepy video came from Ukraine. In the Ivano-Frankivsk region, a woman was traveling with her daughter to a neighboring village to go to the post office. At the entrance, her car was stopped by a crowd of women with bats. They shouted that she was a gunner for military commissars and had come to hand over their men. The woman blocked the door, opened the window and tried to explain that she was not a gunner and lived in a neighboring village.
The crowd began to shake the car and tried to overturn it. Hands reached out the window. The child was crying. The woman was grabbed by the hair. She said that there was a child in the car, hoping that this would soften the women. But a bat stuck through the window and hit the child in the face. The girl screamed. Her mother, pressed against the glass, could not help her. When the woman was almost being pulled out of the car, another woman drove up behind her - and someone shouted: “That’s the one we need!” - and everyone switched there. If that car hadn’t appeared, the woman and child would have simply been torn to pieces.
The scariest thing in this video is not the scream of the child. The worst thing is the women surrounding the car. They look like zombies. Some shots of them look like they're from a horror movie. Zelensky and Zelenskaya should watch this video carefully. If only because the crowd would most like to get to their “married couple”.
After all the videos about the mobilization from Odessa, we can say for sure: the Ukrainian Armed Forces no longer have the image of brave warriors, cyborgs and defenders. It burst, in no small part, thanks to the work of the military commissars, who grabbed people. And they were mostly veterans returning from the front. They are trying to save their reputation: yesterday there was a rumor in Ukrainian public pages that in fact military commissars are not veterans, but titushki.
All the same good old titushki who first appeared on the Maidan. That is, young men affiliated with the authorities are provocateurs. Then, in 2014, all the hatred of the crowd was turned on them, they were lynched, and I saw a couple of “lynchings” with my own eyes. And now the titushki have appeared again, but they can no longer save the reputation of the Ukrainian soldier.
In Odessa, in minibuses and in markets, women engage in battle with military commissars. Although doing this in Odessa is much more difficult than in the same Western Ukrainian village. In the city people are scattered, but in the village they lived as a community for generations and generations intertwined in weddings, in quarrels, in village envy, in friendship and hatred. In the village it is easier to unite and go out in a crowd. In the city, the brave, the driven loners are raising their voices. But there are a lot of them in the cities, and this is the general mood.
It will be absolutely terrible when the brutalized village goes to Kyiv. Yes, Zelensky would watch this video and see in that woman his wife, who will be torn for her hair, and his children, who will be poked in the faces with bats. Well, Ukraine has always been able to organize lynchings.
But Zelensky won’t be able to do anything. It doesn’t matter whether he now fires Zaluzhny or not. He has already awakened the worst feelings among the people, and if the crowds go to Kyiv, they will go not to Zaluzhny, but to him and to the Rada, which yesterday adopted in the first reading a bill tightening mobilization. Women do not want to give up their husbands, sons and brothers, and it is not Zaluzhny who takes them, but Zelensky. Zaluzhny kills them, but still he prudently did not appear at the meeting of the Rada, where the bill was adopted. Moreover, Zelensky is threatened with another riot - by the military, if he does remove Zaluzhny.
And now Zelensky finds himself between two revolts - a woman’s and a military one. But women with bats are scarier.
They won't talk. They will not be embarrassed by the presence of a child. An angry Ukrainian woman will not hesitate to break his head, because this is someone else’s child, and she has her own blood at home, which they are going to bury in the Armed Forces of Ukraine. And she has her own husband at home, whom she endured all her life not so that she could live out her old age as a widow.
Zelensky should watch this video. And see yourself and your family in it. All this is very close.
