Has the specter of world war departed from Ukraine, to spare Europe the price of a third world war whose fuel would be the European peoples and European civilizational gains? Or has this ghost decided to move to the Middle East in light of the successive regional and international developments taking place in the region as part of the repercussions of the Zionist-American genocidal war on the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip and its declared and undeclared goals over the past four months?

On February 23, the Russian war on Ukraine has completed its second year, and is still at a standstill. Neither Russia was victorious and achieved its goals, nor were the United States and its allies able to bring victory to Ukraine, despite their massive support for Ukraine with weapons and advanced combat equipment, training, planning and management of the battles that American officials expected would last for more than 5 years, which led many observers at the time to fear... This war will develop into a world war.

The United States had many solutions to shorten the duration of the war, prevent the destruction of the Gaza Strip and kill civilians, double the amount of confusion in the regional and international situation at sea and on land, and expose the falsity of the principles and values it embraces, by resorting to dialogue and political solutions to resolve crises.

Indicators and possibilities

At a time when the war on the Gaza Strip continues, and at a time when the series of destruction, killing, and suffering continues, in which about 200 people are killed and more than 500 civilians are wounded every day, and at a time when the pace is accelerating, and positions are clashing in search of a solution that will stop this war and open the way to... Political moves to put an end to this tragedy; The region has begun to witness escalating deliberate movements, led by the United States, working to expand the circle of conflict, which may push many regional countries to reposition themselves and determine their position on the expected changes in the event of an outbreak of conflict, which may lead to a global war that has become a vital strategic requirement for many countries of the world. At this stage.

Many indicators lead us to talk about the possibilities of a third world war in the Middle East, and to say that what is happening in the Gaza Strip may be just one of the factors in the outbreak of this war, and at the forefront of these indicators are the following:

  • The American administration still blatantly supports the Zionist entity in its crimes in the Gaza Strip, politically, militarily, and in the media, as if it is waging a proxy war on its behalf.

The genocidal war taking place in the Gaza Strip goes beyond, from an operational standpoint, the reaction of the Zionist entity to the “Al-Aqsa Flood” attack on the settlements surrounding the Gaza Strip on October 7th, and its desire for revenge and to secure its future borders with the Gaza Strip.

The United States has many solutions that it could have implemented to shorten the duration of the war, prevent the destruction of the Gaza Strip and the killing of civilians, double the amount of confusion in the regional and international situation at sea and on land, increase the level of popular discontent with what is happening, distort the image of the United States, and reveal the falsity of the principles and values it adopts, which confirm Always resort to dialogue and political solutions to resolve bilateral or multiple crises.

  • The northern front and the operations carried out by Hezbollah are still governed by specific rules of engagement, although what Hezbollah is doing is not much different militarily and intellectually from what Hamas and the armed Palestinian resistance have done. It adopts the same view that Iran, Hamas and jihad adopt regarding the Zionist entity. He entered the war in support of Hamas and the resistance in Gaza after the “Al-Aqsa Flood.”

According to the party, in the first three months, it carried out nearly 700 strikes against Israeli targets, including 48 Israeli military sites and points. It also targeted 17 settlements on the border, inflicting on the Zionist army in these confrontations and wounding more than two thousand of its members.

In contrast; Israeli army sources reported that its forces have attacked about 3,500 Hezbollah targets since the beginning of the war, destroying 150 of its cells, causing the death of 200 people, while Hezbollah announced that its death toll has so far reached 179 martyrs.

Despite the constant threats of the Zionist entity to Hezbollah that if it does not stop, the fate of Beirut will be like the fate of Gaza; However, the situation on the northern front is as it is, and both parties are committed to the rules of engagement with the other party.

  • Despite Iran's declaration of support for the Palestinian resistance movements, and its support for them in its war against the Zionist entity, it is still exploring the political and diplomatic approach in dealing with what is happening in the Gaza Strip, and using very cautious language, even in responding to the Israeli attacks it was exposed to inside Iran. And Syria, in order to avoid sliding into a confrontation with the United States and NATO before completing international alliances that achieve a balance of deterrence in return.

Many indicators call us to take a deeper look at the events taking place around us, and not to stop at their appearance only. What appears to us on the surface has its roots extending deep down, depending on the size of the forces and the nature of the operations they manage to achieve their goals, near and far, in a way that guarantees their superiority and dominance.

  • What is happening in the Red Sea, with the Houthi regime targeting ships heading to the Zionist entity, raises many questions about the reality of what is going on there, because much of what is happening there seems incomprehensible, and perhaps it is sometimes fabricated or has goals that far exceed its real intentions, so why? Essentially, aid ships are forced to enter from the Red Sea, while the sea routes to deliver this aid from Europe and the United States are open to them through the Mediterranean Sea, which is the shortest distance, and least in time and cost?

Why do commercial ships heading to the Zionist entity insist on passing through the Red Sea Strait despite Houthi threats? Why was the American-British response to the Houthis delayed? If the United States was going to launch its attacks jointly with Britain, why did it delay so long until an international coalition was formed against the Houthis in the Red Sea? How is it possible that the Houthis control an international sea corridor such as the Red Sea, and the United States can only confront it with an international coalition? Where is the United Nations? Where is the Security Council in this?

  • It was not for the military operations on the northern front of the Zionist entity, nor in the Red Sea, nor for the Houthi ballistic missiles against Eilat, nor for the military operations against the American bases in Syria and Iraq. Any role in pressuring the Zionist entity to force it to stop the war and alleviate the suffering of the Palestinian people. The biggest role that can be monitored for these operations is increasing tension in the region and worrying about the expansion of the confrontations.

These were merely indicators, calling us to take a deeper look at the events taking place around us, and not to stop at their apparent appearance only. What appears to us on the surface has its roots extending deep down, depending on the size of the forces and the nature of the operations they manage to achieve their goals, near and far, in a way that guarantees their superiority and dominance. .

Some may believe that such talk involves an exaggeration, or a departure from context into contexts that are not real, but what prompts us to stop at these and similar indicators, and think carefully about the possibilities of their connection to upcoming events is greater than we expect. That world war has become an urgent demand that imposes itself on the dominant international powers, official and unofficial,

Also, a world war does not occur suddenly like the “Al-Aqsa Flood” or other lightning wars, but rather it is preceded by many movements and operations at various levels, paving the way for the outbreak of a world war, which does not necessarily have to be a nuclear war, as the American and Soviet poles fought after the world war. The second is long wars over several decades, in which millions of people were killed, without using any nuclear weapons.
