Procedures were held on the 7th to sort out issues and evidence ahead of the trial of a gang leader charged with murder and other crimes in the case in which the president of a Kyoto company that operates "Gyoza no Osho" was shot and killed. was held for the first time. In December 2013, the president of Osho Food Service, Takayuki Daito (72 years old at the time), was shot and killed in front of the Kyoto headquarters of Ohsho Food Service. Yukio Tanaka (57), a gang leader, was indicted in 2022 on charges of murder and violation of the Firearms and Swords Act.



On the 7th, before the trial, the first ``pretrial review procedure'' was held at the Kyoto District Court in which the judge, prosecutor, and lawyer narrowed down the issues and evidence.



According to the court, Tanaka will also be in attendance to discuss the issues in the case and sort out the evidence, and the trial will focus on whether the defendant was the one who shot and killed the victim.



The next proceeding is scheduled for March 6th, but according to those involved, no dates have been set for the trial, including the first hearing.



Tanaka has been charged with colluding with someone, and police are continuing to investigate as they believe there is someone who gave instructions to him.
