"Ah, life! When you find it, when you touch suffering and illness with your hand. Fear makes you tremble and the mind travels." This was the last Instagram post by journalist Carlotta Desì.

Carlotta Dessì

, a young journalist from Mediaset Italia, with real talent, understood that she had little time left to live.

Since last August she discovered that she was sick and in a few months

her condition worsened

. Even though she was quickly put in the hands of doctors, despite the love of her family, her loved ones, and her colleagues, Carlotta could not survive.

This Tuesday afternoon she passed away

at only 35 years old.

Carlotta Desì was a familiar face,

a Mediaset television journalist

who had worked for several of the group's shows, including

Mattino 5

,

Pomeriggio 5

and

Fuori dal Coro

.

Ella carlotta had also done some popular research for Mario Giordano's show.

Recently, with

great strength and courage

, the journalist had been invited to the program where she had appeared in recent years.

It was his last time on television, a kind of farewell. She was not in the best condition, she was going through tough treatment, but she was smiling and optimistic: she still hoped

to

make it, with

Mario Giordano

at her side to encourage her.

"You have to fight, you don't have to give up. One thing is for sure. I am not alone. I haven't been alone since the first day I discovered my illness, 4 months ago, in a hot Milanese summer. Since that day my life has changed. It has changed for me, for my family, for my partner. But from the beginning I have been overwhelmed by so much love and affection, at all times. I am surrounded by people and true friends who never leave me alone and always give me a lot of strength, especially when my fears take over me. They remind me to look forward, to think about the future and to never give up," he said during that interview.
