February 8, 2024, marks the anniversary of the Night Journey and Mi’raj, from which we benefit from telling and talking about many lessons and lessons for us and all of humanity.

The presence of Abu Talib next to the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, was a protective fence for him, preventing him from being harmed by the Quraysh. Because Quraysh did not want to lose Abu Talib, and when Abu Talib died; This barrier collapsed, and the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, suffered a great deal of physical harm. Khadija, may God be pleased with her, the wife of the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, was the healing balm for the psychological wounds inflicted on him by the polytheists to the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace. The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, this balm.

The Messenger of God, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, went out to Ta’if after the Quraysh’s harm to him became severe and they were severely restricting him. He asked its leaders to support and protect the truth that he calls for, until he attains the religion of God. Their answer was only to respond to him with the ugliest response, and they were not satisfied with that. Rather, they sent a messenger to the Quraysh to inform them of what Muhammad, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, had brought. The Quraysh frowned at him and harbored evil intentions for him. The Messenger of God, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, was not able to enter Mecca except in the vicinity of an infidel man. The Quraysh frowned at him and stared at the Messenger of God, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him. He greeted him, and his sadness and anxiety increased. Until that year was called, according to the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, “the Year of Sorrow,” and after all of this, God’s miracle happened to His Messenger, namely: the Night Journey and Mi’raj.

During the journey of Isra and Mi’raj, God showed His Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, these major verses, as a prelude to the migration and the greatest confrontation in history against disbelief, misguidance, and immorality.

As for the goal of this miracle, it is represented in several things: one of the importants:

God Almighty wanted to give His Messenger, may God bless him and grant him peace, the opportunity to see the major manifestations of His ability. Until his heart is filled with confidence in him, and based on him; In order to increase his strength in attacking the authority of the infidels existing on earth, as happened to Moses, peace be upon him, he wanted to show him the wonders of his power. God Almighty said: “And what is that in your right hand, O Moses?” He said, “It is my staff. I lean on it, and I beat it upon My sheep. And I have other purposes in it.” He said, “Throw it, O Moses.” So he threw it, and behold, it was alive and running. He said, “Take it and do not be afraid. We will restore it to its former way.” And join your hand to your wing. It will emerge white from the surface. Other than the badness of another verse” [Taha: 17-22]. When his heart was filled with witnessing these major verses, he said to him after that: “We will show you of Our greatest verses” [Taha: 23].

During the journey of Isra and Mi’raj, God showed His Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, these major verses, as a prelude to the migration and the greatest confrontation in history against disbelief, misguidance, and immorality. The signs that the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, saw are many. Among them: going to the Holy House, ascending to heaven, seeing the prophets, messengers, angels, the heavens, heaven, hell, and examples of bliss and torment... etc. The Holy Qur’an talked about the Night Journey in Surat Al-Isra, and about the Ascension in Surah Al-Najm, and mentioned the wisdom of the Night Journey. In Surah Al-Isra, by saying: “We will show him of Our signs” [Al-Isra: 1] and in Surah Al-Najm, by saying: “He has certainly seen of the greatest signs of his Lord” [An-Najm: 18]. There are sciences, secrets, minutes, lessons, and lessons in the Isra and Mi’raj.

Professor Abu Al-Hasan Al-Nadawi says: “The Night Journey was not just a simple individual event in which the Messenger of God, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, saw the great signs, and the Kingdom of Heaven appeared to him, while the Earth was visible, with his own eyes; Rather - in addition to that - this unseen prophetic journey included many precise meanings and wise, far-reaching signs. It included the story of the Night Journey, and the two noble surahs that were revealed about it, “The Night Journey” and “The Star,” declared: that Muhammad, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, is the Prophet of the Two Qiblahs. And the Imam of the East and the West, and the inheritor of the prophets before him, and the Imam of the generations after him. In his person, and in his Israa, Mecca met with Jerusalem, and the Sacred House with the Al-Aqsa Mosque, and he prayed with the prophets behind him. This was an indication of the generality of his message, the immortality of his Imamate, the humanity of his teachings, and their suitability for differences in place and time. The Night Journey defines the personality of the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, describes his imamate and leadership, determines the status of the nation in which he was sent and which believed in him, and clarifies its message and the role it will represent in the world, and among the peoples and nations.

In the hadith: He ascended me until he reached the fourth heaven, so he asked for it to be opened. It was said: Who is this? He said: Gabriel. It was said: Who is with you? He said: Muhammad. It was said: Or was it sent to him? He said: Yes, it was said: Welcome, so what a good coming it came, and it was opened

First: The story of the Night Journey and Mi’raj as mentioned in some hadiths

On the authority of Anas bin Malik, may God be pleased with him, he said: The Messenger of God, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, said: “I brought Al-Buraq - which is a tall white animal, taller than a donkey and lower than a mule, with its hoof at the end of its tip - he said: I rode it until I came to Jerusalem. He said: So I tied it with a ring; Which the prophets associate with him. He said: Then I entered the mosque and prayed two rak’ahs in it, then I left, and Gabriel, peace be upon him, brought me a container of wine and a container of milk, so I chose milk, and Gabriel said: I chose fitrah.. So he mentioned the hadith [Muslim (162)].

In the hadith of Malik bin Sa’sa’ah, may God be pleased with him: The Prophet of God, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, told him about the night of his captivity, he said: “While I was in Al-Hatim - and he may have said in Al-Hijr - lying down; When he came to me, he said: And I heard him say: He split between this one and this one, so I said to Al-Jaroud, who was next to me: What does he mean by it? He said: From the gap, he slaughtered it [to the hair, and I heard him say: From the cut to the hair - so he extracted my heart, then I brought a golden basin full of faith, so my heart was washed, then stuffed, then brought back. Then I brought an animal smaller than a mule, and on top of the donkey was white - so Al-Jaroud said to him: Is it Al-Buraq, Abu Hamza?! He said: Anas: Yes - he put a step at the far end of it, so I carried on him, and Gabriel took me until he reached the lowest heaven, so he asked for the door to be opened, and it was said: Who is this? Jibril said has been said is with you? He said: Muhammad. It was said: And he was sent to him? He said: Yes. It was said: Welcome, so what a good coming it came and opened, so when I finished; So Adam was in it, and he said: This is your father Adam, so he greeted him, so I greeted him, and he returned the greeting, then said: Welcome to the righteous son and righteous prophet. Then he ascended with me until he reached the second heaven and asked for it to be opened. It was said: Who is this? Jibril said has been said is with you? He said: Muhammad. It was said: And he was sent to him? He said: Yes, it was said: Welcome, so yes, the coming came, and it was opened, so when I finished; Then Yahya and Jesus - who were cousins - said: This is Yahya and Jesus, so he greeted them, and I greeted them in response, then they said: Welcome to the righteous brother and righteous prophet. Then he took me to the third heaven and asked for it to be opened. It was said: Who is this? Jibril said has been said is with you? He said: Muhammad. It was said: And he was sent to him? He said: Yes, it was said: Welcome, so yes, the coming came, and it was opened, so when I finished; If Joseph, he said: This is Joseph, so greet him. So I greeted him, and he responded and then said: Welcome to the righteous brother and the righteous prophet.

Then he ascended with me until he reached the fourth heaven, and asked for it to be opened. It was said: Who is this? He said: Gabriel. It was said: Who is with you? He said: Muhammad. It was said: Or was it sent to him? He said: Yes, it was said: Welcome, so yes, the coming came, and it was opened, so when I finished; Then he saw Idris. He said: This is Idris. So I greeted him. So I greeted him. He replied and then said: Welcome to the righteous brother and righteous prophet. Then he ascended with me until he reached the fifth heaven. He asked for the opening. It was said: Who is this? Jibril said has been said is with you? He said: Muhammad. It was said: And he was sent to him? He said: Yes, it was said: Welcome, so yes, the coming came, and it was opened, so when I finished; Then he saw Aaron. He said: This is Aaron. He greeted him, so I greeted him. He responded and said: Welcome, the righteous brother and the righteous prophet. Then he ascended with me until he reached the sixth heaven, so he asked for the opening. It was said: Who is this? Jibril said has been said is with you? He said: Muhammad. It was said: And he was sent to him? He said: Yes. He said: Welcome, so yes, the coming has come. When I finished; Then he saw Moses. He said: This is Moses, so greet him. So I greeted him. He responded and then said: Welcome to the righteous brother and righteous prophet. When I crossed; He cried, and he was told: What makes you cry? He said: I cry; Because a boy sent after me will enter Paradise more from his nation than those who will enter it from my nation.

Then he took me to the seventh heaven, and Gabriel asked for the prayer to be opened. It was said: Who is this? Jibril said has been said is with you? He said: Muhammad. It was said: And he was sent to him? He said: Yes, he said: Welcome to him, and what a good coming he came, so when I finished; So, behold, Ibrahim said: This is your father, so he greeted him. He said: So I greeted him, and he returned the greeting, then said: Welcome to the righteous son and the righteous prophet. Then the Sidrat al-Muntaha was raised for me, and if its stems were like the qalāl of Hajr, and if its leaves were like the ears of elephants, he said: This Sidra Al-Muntaha, and there were four rivers: two hidden rivers, and two apparent rivers, so I said: What are these two, O Gabriel?! He said: As for the two secrets; There are two rivers in Paradise, and as for the two apparent ones: Then the Nile and the Euphrates, then Al-Bayt Al-Ma’mur was raised for me, then I brought a vessel of wine, a vessel of milk, and a vessel of honey, so I took the milk, and he said: It is the nature; Which you and your nation are following. Then you imposed on me fifty prayers every day, so I returned and passed by Musa. He said: What have I been commanded to do? He said: I was ordered to perform fifty prayers every day. He said: Your nation cannot perform fifty prayers every day, and I swear by God! You have tried the people before you, and treated the Children of Israel harshly, so go back to your Lord and ask Him to ease your nation. So I returned, and he imposed a tenth on my behalf. So I returned to Moses, and he said the same. So I returned, and he imposed a tenth on my behalf. So I returned to Moses, and he said the same. So I returned, and he imposed a tenth on my behalf. So I went back to Musa, and he said the same. So I went back and ordered ten prayers every day. So I went back and he said the same. So I went back and ordered five prayers every day. So I went back to Musa and he said: What did I command? I said: I was ordered to do five prayers every day. He said: Your nation cannot do five prayers every day, and I have tried the people before you, and I treated the Children of Israel severely, so go back to your Lord and ask Him to lighten it for your nation. He said: I asked my Lord until I was ashamed, but I am satisfied and submit. He said: When I passed, a caller called out: I have completed my obligatory prayers, and I have made light of the burden on my servants.” [Al-Bukhari (3207) and Muslim (164)].

The event of the Night Journey and Mi’raj occurred a year before his migration - peace be upon him - as Judge Iyad said in Al-Shifa, and when the Messenger of God, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, returned from his auspicious journey; He told his people about this, and he said to them in a gathering attended by Al-Mut’im bin Adi, Amr bin Hisham, and Al-Walid bin Al-Mughirah: “I prayed the evening prayer in this mosque tonight, and I prayed there in the morning, and I came to what is less than that, Bayt Al-Maqdis, and a group of prophets spread out for me; Among them: Abraham, Moses and Jesus, and I prayed with them and spoke to them, and Amr bin Hisham said as if he were mocking him: Describe them for me, and he said: As for Jesus: he is taller than a quarter, but not tall, broad-chested, visible blood, frizzy, hairy, with red hair on top, as if he were Urwa bin Masoud. Al-Thaqafi. As for Musa: Adam was large, tall, as if he were one of the tall men, with overlapping teeth, a contracted lip, protruding gums, and frowning. As for Ibrahim: By God, he is the most similar to people to me, in appearance and character. They said: O Muhammad! So he described the Holy House for us. He said: “I entered it at night, and I left it at night.” Then Gabriel brought him a picture of him in his wing, and he started saying: “A door from it is such-and-such, in such-and-such a place, and a door from it is such-and-such, in such-and-such a place.”

Then they asked him about their caravan, and he said to them: “I came to the caravan of Banu So-and-so with Al-Ruhaa. A she-camel of theirs had gone astray, so they set out to look for it, so I ended up at their caravan, but none of them had it. If I saw a cup of water, and I drank from it, then ask them about that.” - They said: This is by God. any! “Then I ended up at the caravan of the son of so-and-so, and the camels ran away from me, and a red camel came out of it, with white collars on it. I don’t know whether I should break the camel or not?” So ask them about that.” They said: “By God, this is a sign!” - “Then I ended up at the caravan of Bani So-and-so in Al-Tan’im, led by a lighter camel, and here it is emerging at you from the back.” Al-Walid bin Al-Mughirah said: A magician, so they went off, looked, and found the matter as he said, so they killed him with magic, and said: Al-Waleed bin Al-Mughirah spoke the truth in what he said. High Demands (4/201 - 204, Majma' Al-Zawa'id (1/75 - 76) and Ibn Hisham in the Biography of the Prophet (2/11)]. This incident was a temptation for some people, who believed and believed in the call, but they apostatized, and some people went to Abu Bakr Al-Siddiq, may God be pleased with him, and they said: Do you have the right to your companion? He claims that he was taken on a captivity tonight to Jerusalem! He said: Or did he say that?! They said: Yes! He said: If he said that, then he is telling the truth! They said: Or do you believe him: that he He went to Jerusalem tonight, and came before the morning? He said: Yes, I believe him in what is beyond that, I believe him in the news of heaven, in the morning or in the evening. That is why Abu Bakr was called: Al-Siddiq [Al-Hakim (3/62)].

The great courage of the Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, was embodied in his confrontation of the polytheists with something that their minds denounced and that their imaginations did not comprehend at first, and the fear of confronting them and receiving their rebuke and ridicule did not prevent him from speaking out. Thus, he, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, set for his nation the most wonderful examples of speaking out the truth before them. People of falsehood

Second: Benefits, lessons and lessons

1- After every ordeal, the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, was exposed to great ordeals. These Quraysh blocked the way to the call in Mecca, in Thaqif, and in the Arab tribes, and tightened the siege against the call and its men from all sides, and the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, became He was in danger after the death of his uncle, Abu Talib, his greatest protector, and the Messenger of God, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, continued on his way, patient with the command of his Lord. Do not take for God’s sake the blame of a blamer, nor the war of a warrior, nor the plot of a mocker. The time had come for the great ordeal, so the event of the Night Journey and Mi’raj came. According to a measure from the Lord of the Worlds, He will take him up above all of creation, honor him for his patience and struggle, meet him directly without a messenger or a veil, acquaint him with the worlds of the unseen without all of creation, and gather him with his fellow messengers on one level, so he will be the imam and the role model. For them, he is their seal, and the last of them, may God bless him and grant him peace.

2- The Messenger, may God bless him and grant him peace, was embarking on a new stage, the stage of migration, and setting out to build the state. God Almighty wants the first building blocks to be sound, strong, compact and cohesive, so God made this a test and examination; To rid the class of the weak and hesitant, and those with sickness in their hearts, and to confirm the strong and sincere believers; Those who saw with their own eyes the truthfulness of their Prophet after they had touched him as truthfulness, and they bore witness to the extent of his honor before his Lord, so what luck surrounds them, and what happiness overwhelms them, while they are around this chosen Prophet, and they have believed in him, and sacrificed their lives in ransom for him and their religion?! How deeply does faith take root in their hearts in the face of this event that took place after the Taif disaster?! And after entering Mecca in the neighborhood, and after the harm of children and fools?!

3- The great courage of the Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, was embodied in his confrontation of the polytheists with something that their minds denied and which their imaginations did not comprehend at first, and the fear of confronting them and receiving their rebuke and ridicule did not prevent him from speaking out. Thus, he, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, set for his nation the most wonderful examples in Proclaiming the truth before the people of falsehood, even if they sided against the truth and recruited everything in their power to fight it. Among the wisdom of the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, in establishing the argument against the polytheists was that he told them about his journey to Jerusalem, and God showed him signs that obliged the disbelievers to believe, and these signs are :

  • The Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, described Jerusalem, and some of them traveled to the Levant and saw Al-Aqsa Mosque. God revealed Al-Aqsa Mosque to His Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, and even described it to the polytheists, and they acknowledged the truth of the description and its conformity with the reality they know.

  • Telling him about the camel that was in Al-Ruha, and the camel that went astray, and what he did in drinking the water that was in the cup.

  • His telling of the second caravan into which the camels fled, and his precise description of one of their camels.

  • His information about the third caravan in Al-Abwa, and his description of the camel that presents it, and his information that it emerges at that time from Thaniyat Al-Tana’im. The polytheists were certain, and they found that what the Messenger, may God bless him and grant him peace, told them was true. This apparent evidence was conclusive for them, and with it they cannot accuse him. By lying. This great journey was a high-level divine education, and he, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, began to see the entire earth, including its creatures, as a small point in that vast universe. Then what is the position of the infidels of Mecca at this point?! They represent only a very small part of this universe, so what will they do towards the one whom God Almighty chose from among His creation, and singled him out for that auspicious lofty journey, and gathered him with the angels and prophets - peace be upon them - and showed him the seven heavens, the Sidra of the End, the Inhabited House, and the Word of the Most High?

4- The strong faith of Al-Siddiq, may God be pleased with him, appears in this momentous event. When the infidels told him, he said in the language of the trustworthy: If he had said that; He was right! Then he said: I believe him in what goes beyond that, I believe him with the news of the sky in the morning or the next, and with this he deserves the title of friend, and this is the ultimate jurisprudence and certainty, as he balanced this news with the descent of the revelation from the sky, so he explained to them: that if he was a stranger to For the average person, it is extremely possible for the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace.

5- The wisdom lies in opening the chest of the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, and filling his heart with faith and wisdom. Preparation for the night journey is evident in his body not being affected by the split, and freeing the heart from all other ordinary fears. Such extraordinary matters must be accepted without being distracted from their reality. Due to the power of God Almighty, for which nothing is impossible.

6- The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, drank milk when he was given the choice between it and wine, and the good news of Gabriel, peace be upon him: “I have been guided to the nature,” confirms: This Islam is the religion of human nature; Which is in harmony with it, for He who created the human nature created this religion for it, which satisfies its inclinations and needs, fulfills its ambitions, and restrains it: “So set your face upright to the religion, the nature of God with which He created people. There is no altering of God’s creation. That is the upright religion, but most people do not know.” Al-Rum: 30].

7- The Isra’ of the Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, was in spirit and body while he was awake to Jerusalem. This is the opinion of the majority of the predecessors and successors, and those who say that the Isra’ was in his spirit and that it was a dream vision are not to be relied upon. If the Night Journey was a dream, When there was no sign or miracle in it, and when the infidels excluded it and did not deny it; Since such a dream is not to be denied, then in the Almighty’s saying: “Glory be to Him who took captive with His servant,” what is meant by His servant: Our master Muhammad, may God bless him and grant him peace, and the word “By His servant” includes his soul and body.

8- The prayer of the Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, with the prophets is evidence that they handed over leadership and leadership to him, and that the law of Islam abrogated the previous laws, and that the followers of these prophets did more than their prophets did, to hand over leadership to this Messenger, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, and to his message that cannot be reached by falsehood. From before it, and not behind it, those who hold conferences for rapprochement between religions must realize this truth and call for it, which is the necessity of abandoning deviant religions and believing in this Messenger, may God bless him and grant him peace, and his message. They must realize the truth of these suspicious calls, which serve One of the situations, or one of the pre-Islamic systems, and any reconciliation between a deviant belief that believes: God is Christ, and that Christ is the Son of God, and that God is the third of three, or between those who believe: Ezra is the Son of God, and distort the word of God, and those who believe: That God is one and has no partner, no father, no son, and no wife - which is an absurd statement.

The history of the Crusades tells us: Arnat, the Crusader, owner of the Kingdom of Karak, sent an expedition to the Hijaz to attack the grave of the Messenger, may God bless him and grant him peace, and his honorable body in the Prophet’s Mosque. The Portuguese (Catholic Christians) tried at the beginning of modern times to reach the Two Holy Mosques; To carry out what their Crusader predecessors were unable to do, but the strong resistance shown by the Mamluks, as well as the Ottomans, prevented the completion of their hellish project.

9- The link between Al-Aqsa Mosque and the Sacred Mosque has rulings, connotations, and benefits. Of which:

  • The importance of Al-Aqsa Mosque for Muslims; As their Messenger, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, began his journey, and his ascension to the highest heavens, and it was still their first qiblah throughout the Meccan period, and this is guidance and guidance for Muslims to love Al-Aqsa Mosque and Palestine. Because it is blessed and holy.

  • The connection makes Muslims feel their responsibility towards Al-Aqsa Mosque, the responsibility of liberating Al-Aqsa Mosque from the harms of polytheism and the doctrine of the Trinity, just as it is also their responsibility to liberate the Sacred Mosque from the harms of polytheism and idolatry.

  • The link feels that the threat to Al-Aqsa Mosque is a threat to the Sacred Mosque and its people, and that attacking Al-Aqsa Mosque is a prelude to attacking the Sacred Mosque. The Al-Aqsa Mosque is the gateway to the Grand Mosque, and the disappearance of the Al-Aqsa Mosque from the hands of Muslims, and its falling into the hands of the Jews, means: that the security of the Grand Mosque and the Hijaz may be threatened, and the eyes of the enemies have turned to them to occupy them.

History, ancient and modern, confirms this. The history of the Crusades tells us: Arnat, the Crusader, owner of the Kingdom of Karak, sent an expedition to the Hijaz to attack the grave of the Messenger, may God bless him and grant him peace, and his honorable body in the Prophet’s Mosque. The Portuguese (Catholic Christians) attempted at the beginning of modern times. Access to the Two Holy Mosques; To implement what their Crusader predecessors were unable to do, but the strong resistance shown by the Mamluks, as well as the Ottomans, prevented the completion of their hellish project. After the war (1967 AD), in which the Jews occupied Jerusalem, their leaders shouted that the goal after that was to occupy the Hijaz, and at the forefront of that was the city of Rasul. May God bless him and grant him peace, and Khaybar.

David Ben-Gurion, the leader of the Jews, stood after the Jewish army entered Jerusalem, reviewing Jewish soldiers and young men near Al-Aqsa Mosque, and gave them a fiery speech, concluding by saying: “We have captured Jerusalem, and we are on our way to Yathrib.” Golda Meir, the Jewish Prime Minister, stood up. After the occupation of Jerusalem, and on the Gulf of Eilat-Aqaba, she says: “I smell the scent of my ancestors in Medina and Hijaz, and it is our country that we will recover.” After that, the Jews published a map of their awaited state. Which included the region from the Euphrates to the Nile, including the Arabian Peninsula, Jordan, Syria, Iraq, Egypt, Yemen, Kuwait, and the entire Arabian Gulf, and they distributed this map of their country after their victory in the 1967 AD war in Europe.

Ibn Katheer mentioned in The Beginning and the End: that (Bakhtanezzar), by order of the Persian king, had destroyed the kingdom of the Jews, and invaded the lands, and because of that the Children of Israel were dispersed, so the Hijaz sect, the Yathrib sect, and the Wadi al-Qura sect descended, and a group went to Egypt, and this happened. The Persian destruction of the Jewish state, in the sixth century BC (597 BC)

10- The reader will see in Surat Al-Isra that God mentioned the story of the Night Journey in only one verse. God Almighty said: “Glory be to Him who took His servant by night from the Sacred Mosque to the Al-Aqsa Mosque, whose surroundings We have blessed to show him of Our signs. Indeed, He is the Hearer, the Seeer.” [Al-Isra: 1] Then he began to mention the scandals of the Jews and their crimes, then alerted them that this Qur’an guides to that which is most upright. The connection between the verses in Surat Al-Isra indicates that the Jews will be isolated from the position of leadership of the human nation. Because of the crimes they committed that left no room for them to remain in this position, and that he would return to his Messenger, may God bless him and grant him peace, and bring together for him both centers of the Abrahamic call, Surat Al-Isra exposed itself to Israeli tyranny, and showed how it collapsed between the claws of the major international powers at that time. “The Persians And the Romans. Therefore, one of the great benefits of the Isra journey for the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, and his nation is seeing some of God’s signs. Because one of the clearest verses of God related to Al-Aqsa Mosque are its historical verses that were reflected in the Roman-Persian-Israeli conflict before the Night Journey. The Almighty said: “And We gave Moses the Scripture and made it a guidance for the Children of Israel: ‘Do you not take a guardian besides me?’ The offspring of whom We carried with Noah. Indeed, he was a grateful servant. And We decreed that To the Children of Israel in the Book: You will surely make corruption in the land twice, and you will declare great exaltation. The Book: You will certainly make mischief in the land twice, and you will declare great exaltation. So when the promise of the first of them came, We sent against you servants of Ours possessed of great might, so they roamed through the lands, and it was a promise fulfilled. Then We returned the battle to you over them, and provided you with wealth and sons, and made you more numerous. If you do good, you will do good to yourselves, and if you do evil, then it is for them. When the promise of the Hereafter comes, they will disgrace your faces and enter the mosque as they entered it the first time, and they will renounce what they have exalted in purity. (Al-Isra: 2-7).

The Persian destruction of the Jewish state, in the sixth century BC (597 BC). As for the second destruction, which is the Roman destruction of the Jewish state “after it was rebuilt,” it occurred in the first century AD (70 AD), when the Roman leader (Titus) demolished ) The Temple of Jerusalem. The Jews fled the face of Roman political and religious persecution, and their migration continued, and some of them ended up in southern Arabia, where their first ancestors preceded them. The Jewish diaspora on the outskirts of the Arabian Peninsula still carries the germ of corruption on earth. If the Messenger, may God bless him and grant him peace, understood the Qurayshi phenomenon and prepared for it, then he must analyze the Jewish phenomenon and prepare for it, for the Jews are not just a historical nation, like Ad, Thamud, and Taurus. Its news is for guidance and consideration, but they are a nation that has a heavy presence in the Arab reality in which the Messenger, may God bless him and grant him peace, lived and in which he moved to establish the Islamic state. They constituted - above their economic status - a center of intellectual authority. Because of their rabbis, news, and books of prophetic heritage, they are qualified to determine the specifications of prophecy, request miracles, and set conditions for the truthfulness of messengers and the authenticity of messages. If the Quraysh used the Kaaba to fight Islam, then the Jews used the Torah to fight the Qur’an, and if Muhammad, may God bless him and grant him peace, expected Battle with Quraysh; He should expect battles with the Jews.

Surat Al-Isra depicted an aspect of the international conflict between the Persians, Romans, and Jews, and after that Surat Al-Rum was revealed, and it also talks about the international conflict. God Almighty said: “The Romans have been defeated in the lowest part of the earth, and after their defeat they will be victorious. In a few years, the command belongs to God before and after, and on that day the believers will rejoice. With the help of God, He gives victory to whom He wills, and He is the Mighty, the Merciful. God’s promise: God does not break His promise, but most people do. They do not know. They know only what is apparent from the life of this world, but they are heedless of the Hereafter. (Al-Rum: 1-7). The polytheists of Quraish wanted the people of Persia to prevail over the Romans. Because they and they are people of idols, while the Muslims loved for the Romans to prevail over Persia. Because they are People of the Book, and the commentators have provided many details about the bet that took place between Abu Bakr Al-Siddiq and some of the polytheists of Mecca regarding the upcoming battle between the Persians and the Romans. In which the Qur’an confirmed the victory of the Romans and the defeat of the Persians.

Ibn Attiya went to another opinion, which is worth considering. Where he said: “The most likely explanation for this - that is: the joy of the believers - is based on what the situation requires of loving the smaller enemy - the Romans - to be defeated because it is easier to supply - and when the larger one is defeated - the Persians - the fear of him increases. Consider this meaning; “With what the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, hoped for regarding the emergence of his religion, the law of God with which he sent him, his victory over the nations, and the desire of the infidels of Mecca to accuse him of a kingdom that would eradicate him and relieve them of him,” the Persians would be material evidence of the truth of the Qur’anic report; Rather, its reason is that God Almighty employed the Roman system power for the benefit of the Muslims who had not yet established any system power. After the Romans gain power over the Persian state, destroy it, and subjugate its power, they will emerge victorious from the battles, but exhausted in strength, which will pave the way for the victory of the Muslims over them, and thus open a way for Islam to emerge as a new global power on the ruins of the two defeated powers.

The Companions, may God be pleased with them, realized their responsibility towards Al-Aqsa Mosque, while it was being held captive under the rule of the Romans, so they liberated it during the reign of Omar bin Al-Khattab, may God be pleased with him, and it continued to enjoy security and security, until the Crusaders wreaked havoc on it five centuries after the migration of the Chosen One, may God bless him and grant him peace.

11- The importance of prayer and its great status: It has been proven in the Sunnah of the Prophet that prayer was obligatory upon the Islamic nation on the night of his ascension, may God bless him and grant him peace, to the heavens. In this, as Ibn Katheer said: “Great concern for the honor and greatness of prayer,” so preachers must emphasize On the importance of prayer, preserving it, and mentioning its importance and its status in that it was imposed on the night of the Ascension, and that it was one of the last things that the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, recommended before his death.

12- The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, was asked if he had seen his Lord, and he said: “Light, how can I see Him?” [Muslim (178) and Al-Tirmidhi (3278)].

13- The Messenger, may God bless him and grant him peace, spoke about the dangers of social diseases, and explained their punishment, as he witnessed on the night of the Night Journey and Mi’raj. Among these diseases are: And its punishment:

  • Punishment for the crime of backbiting and backbiting: The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, saw people eating carrion, so Gabriel told him: “These are the ones who eat people’s flesh” [Ahmad (1/257)].

  • Punishment for eating orphans’ wealth: The Messenger of God, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, saw men with blades - large lips - like the blades of camels, and in their hands were pieces of fire like stones - that is, stones - which they threw into their mouths, which came out of their backs, so Gabriel told him: These are the eaters of the orphans’ wealth unjustly. [Ibn Hisham in the Biography of the Prophet (2/47)].

  • Those who eat usury: The Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, came to a people whose bellies were like houses, with snakes visible from the outside of their stomachs. Gabriel told him: These are the eaters of usury [Ahmad (2/353) and Ibn Majah (2273)].

  • The narratives mentioned the punishment of adulterers, those who refuse to pay zakat, preachers of sedition [Ahmad (3/120, 180, 231, 239) and Abd bin Hamid (1222)] and negligence in trustworthiness.

  • The reward of the Mujahideen: On the night of the Night Journey and Mi’raj, the Messenger of God, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, passed by a people who sow in one day and reap in another day. Whenever they reap; He returned as he had been, and told Gabriel: “These are those who strive in the cause of God, their good deeds will be multiplied seven hundredfold, and they will not spend anything; He succeeds.” [Al-Bazzar (55), Majma’ al-Zawa’id (1/67 – 72) and al-Mundhiri in At-Targhib wa al-Tarhib (1129)].

14- The Companions’ awareness of the importance of Al-Aqsa Mosque: The Companions, may God be pleased with them, realized their responsibility towards Al-Aqsa Mosque, while it was being held captive under the rule of the Romans, so they liberated it during the reign of Omar bin Al-Khattab, may God be pleased with him, and it continued to enjoy security and safety, until the Crusaders wreaked havoc on it five centuries later. From the migration of the Chosen One, may God bless him and grant him peace, and they stayed for what amounted to a century, wreaking havoc, so the Muslims liberated him under the leadership of Saladin Al-Ayyubi, and here he is under Jewish occupation, so what is the way to free him?

The path to his salvation: Jihad for the sake of God; Following the approach followed by the honorable companions, may God be pleased with them.
