The story of Zaluzhny’s dismissal is increasingly reminiscent of a vulgar joke, although there is nothing funny about it. After all, while Zelensky is bargaining with his masters, people continue to die.

However, the continuation of the war does not depend on what surname the commander-in-chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine has. And what has already become a meme “until the last Ukrainian” will be methodically implemented.

Another thing is what bets on the dismissed Zaluzhny are made by those who are sick of Zelensky. Conversations that the “cocaine hysterical”, who has not lived up to expectations and is increasingly slipping into a drug frenzy, will be exchanged for someone less inadequate, have been going on for a long time. And Zaluzhny is the most discussed candidate.

The British The Times, for example, accused Zelensky of trying to eliminate a more popular competitor.

The newspaper writes that “Zaluzhny, nicknamed the Iron General, today boasts 88% support.” This is in contrast to Zelensky, “the best sales manager in the country,” who has an approval rating of 62%.

“Public bickering weakens Western support,” the article says.

At the same time, Ukrainian, God forgive me, political scientists write that after Zaluzhny’s resignation, he could become a center of attraction for all forces dissatisfied with Zelensky and a real contender for the presidency, whose elections in Ukraine have now been canceled, but organizing and holding them will not be difficult for those interested in a change leadership of the country of curators.

One example: retired General of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Sergei Krivonos believes that Vladimir Zelensky is not coping with his responsibilities.

“As for the president’s statement that he is thinking about replacing the leadership of Ukraine, I would like to hope that he thought to himself. I would really like to believe that he realized that, in principle, he could not cope with a certain part of his responsibilities regarding the Constitution and regarding the law on mobilization,” he said in an interview, commenting on the situation around the commander-in-chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Valery Zaluzhny.

In parallel with these statements, in the network of pro-presidential channels on Telegram there was a massive posting of articles on the topic “Zaluzhny, of course, is cool, but Zelensky knows what he is doing.” However, judging by numerous comments, the majority believes that this is a political reprisal, and Zelensky and his team (hereinafter I quote) are “impotents who do not solve anything.”

And here I would like to return to The Times’ statement that public Ukrainian quarrels are weakening Western support.

The fact is that the Ukrainian yoke, cleverly thrown by the Americans around the neck of Europe, is increasingly beginning to put pressure and chafe.

And the search for ways to get rid of this burden is becoming more and more urgent. So there is a high probability that the story of “Schrödinger’s Zaluzhny” will continue for some time, during which (with references to internal Ukrainian squabbles and discord) it will become the very convenient excuse with which it will be possible to reduce unprofitable investments in a dubious enterprise called "Ukrainian victory."
