  Jingmai Mountain is located in Pu'er City, Yunnan Province, in the southwest border of China. Since the 10th century AD, the ancestors of the Bulang and Dai people have successively migrated to the mountain to settle, plant tea trees, and form a relatively well-preserved ancient tea garden of thousands of acres of cultivation. In May 2013, the ancient tea forest in Jingmai Mountain was announced by the State Council as the seventh batch of national key cultural relics protection units. On September 17, 2023, the "Pu'er Jingmai Mountain Ancient Tea Forest Cultural Landscape" was officially included in the World Heritage List, becoming the world's first tea-themed world cultural heritage.

  Zhang Guangming is a native of the Bulang ethnic group in Jingmai Mountain. He saw a large number of tea merchants and tourists coming to the mountain every year to buy tea and travel, so he opened an inn in 2012. "After I renovated and expanded the inn in 2018, it has a total of 16 rooms and 26 beds."

  Zhang Guangming said that before Jingmai Mountain was inscribed on the World Heritage List, the annual occupancy rate of his inn was about 70%. Since its inscription on the UNESCO World Heritage List, it has been fully occupied every day. Many tourists from other provinces contacted him, hoping to go to Jingmai Mountain to visit ancient tea gardens, taste Pu'er, visit ancient villages, and spend a different Spring Festival. "Now various villages in Jingmai Mountain are actively preparing for performances during the Golden Week of the Spring Festival. Tourists from all over are welcome to participate in a variety of activities and celebrate the Spring Festival together."

  In fact, the inns in Jingmai Mountain Mangjingxia Village, Nuogan Ancient Village and other villages are also very popular. During the Spring Festival, the rooms are almost sold out in mid-January.

  Dong Junyan, deputy director of the Culture and Tourism Bureau of Lancang Lahu Autonomous County, said that thanks to the protection of the ancient tea forest cultural landscape of Jingmai Mountain, the popularity and reputation of Jingmai Mountain have continued to increase. At present, there are more than 40 inns and B&Bs in Jingmai Mountain, with 379 rooms and more than 600 beds. Many tourists have booked rooms in advance during the Spring Festival Golden Week.
