In Senegal, deputies examined on February 5, 2024 the bill to postpone the presidential election from February 25 to December 25, 2024. At the end of a long day, it was voted on and adopted by 105 votes for and 1 against , but without the deputies of the main opposition coalition, reports our correspondent in Dakar, Léa-Lisa Westerhoff. The latter were evacuated by the gendarmes, because these parliamentarians refuse to vote without a substantive debate.
