A female employee of a restaurant in Shinjuku's Kabukicho district was arrested on suspicion of assaulting a female customer and forcing her into prostitution in order to collect ``accounts receivable'' that had been used to pay for a female customer's food and drinks.

The employees dressed as men to serve customers at a host club-style store, charged women large sums of money, and then forced them to wait on the street for prostitution customers. According to her investigation, she has denied the charges.

The suspect arrested was Yuna Katsumata (23), an employee of a restaurant in Kabukicho, Shinjuku.

According to the Metropolitan Police Department, in December last year, in order to collect food and drink money from a 23-year-old female customer, he was suspected of violating the Prostitution Prevention Act by threatening her with violence, including slapping her face with his hand, and forcing her into prostitution. It is.

The employee dresses as a man and serves customers at the store, which is based on the concept of a host club.In May of last year, she made a woman who was visiting the store order expensive champagne, making her earn 3 million yen in one night. This means that they were billed as "accounts receivable."

After that, he instructed the women to "earn money through prostitution" and made them wait for prostitution customers on the street near Okubo Park in Kabukicho, and made them visit sex shops around the country as "migrant workers" for six months. It is said that she was forced into prostitution repeatedly over a period of time.

The employee received almost all of the approximately 3.5 million yen that the woman earned.

In response to an investigation, she denied the charges, saying, ``She said, ``Bring me the money quickly,'' but she did not assault him.''

At host clubs in Kabukicho and other locations, there have been a number of cases in which troubles have arisen between the establishment and customers over the collection of ``accounts receivable,'' which are used to pay for customers' meals and drinks, leading to incidents.

There are many cases in which women who are unable to pay their debts are forced into prostitution, and the Tokyo Metropolitan Police Department is stepping up crackdowns.
