The new jungle queen has just been crowned and the next season of “I’m a Star – Get Me Out of Here!” is already being planned. This time, fans of the reality show don't have to wait a whole year: there will be a special season in the summer.

The presenter duo Sonja Zietlow and Jan Köppen announced this late on Monday evening in the program “The Big Reunion”. In keeping with the 20th anniversary of the format, which is actually filmed in Australia, twelve former campers are daring to go on a bush adventure again in "I'm a Star - Showdown of the Jungle Legends", according to RTL - but this time in South Africa.

The Cologne private broadcaster initially did not reveal who would be there. Except that in addition to Zietlow and Köppen, there is also jungle medic Dr. Bob will be there.

In the season that ended on Sunday evening, singer Lucy Diakovska from the pop band No Angels took the jungle crown. Reality candidate Leyla Lahouar and the influencer Twenty4Tim also landed on the podium.
