According to Shimane Prefecture, the public health center was contacted on the 4th by a medical institution in Masuda City that four people who ate ehomaki made by this vendor had visited the hospital complaining of symptoms of gastroenteritis.



According to an investigation by the public health center, 66 men and women ranging in age from under 10 to those in their 80s who ate Setsubun ehomaki made by this vendor on February 1st and 2nd complained of symptoms such as diarrhea and vomiting. .



Additionally, on January 31st, 14 men and women in their 20s to 70s who ate at a restaurant operated by this business complained of diarrhea, vomiting, and fever.



Two people were hospitalized, but they have already been discharged and the other patients are also recovering.



Based on the patient's symptoms and what he ate, the public health center concluded that the food poisoning was caused by the ehomaki rolls at the delicatessen shop and the food eaten at the restaurant, and suspended the patient's business for five days from the 6th.
