Opinions differ about Dieter Bohlen. There is still agreement on one thing: the successful producer, television judge and “pop titan” is an integral part of the German music and media landscape and is one of the most famous celebrities in Germany.

Bohlen turns 70 on Wednesday. And he apparently already has concrete plans for his future private life. “Carina and I are getting married,” Bohlen told the “Bild” newspaper. »There is a fixed date - since the first day of our relationship. I told her a specific year and said, if we're still together, I'll trust you and marry you." The invitations haven't been printed yet, but that date is coming soon.

"I'm a crazy child when it comes to getting married."

Bohlen and Carina Walz, 39, have been in a relationship for almost two decades. They met in Mallorca in 2006. The couple has two children together: a twelve-year-old daughter and a ten-year-old son.

"I'm a burned child when it comes to getting married and I definitely don't want to ruin another marriage," says Bohlen. "It would then be the third marriage, and it has to last until the end of his life." He doesn't seem to have any doubts about his partner: "I'm absolutely sure about Carina."

However, one important detail is apparently still missing: "You have to make me a real proposal again so that I marry you," Walz told the newspaper.
