Plum blossoms are starting to reach their peak in various parts of Ehime Prefecture, and the fragrance of plum blossoms is spreading even at the Japanese garden "Nanrakuen" in Uwajima City.

Nanrakuen, located in Tsushima-cho, Uwajima City, is one of the largest Japanese gardens in Shikoku, where you can enjoy seasonal flowers throughout the year.

Approximately 160 plum trees are planted in the garden, and among these, the early-blooming variety, Kankobai, gradually began blooming around December last year, and its bright pink flowers are at their peak.

In addition, the white plum blossoms were starting to bloom, reaching 6 minutes in bloom throughout the park, and the sweet and sour scent of plum blossoms spread throughout the park, and visitors could be seen taking a leisurely stroll while feeling the early arrival of spring.

A female tourist from Israel said, ``The plum blossoms are so beautiful and I'm glad I came.''

In Nanrakuen, plum blossoms are blooming earlier than usual, and the peak season will begin this week, meaning you can enjoy them throughout February.
