Mr. Ikuyama then introduced how to hold the rope to make it easier to move and the appropriate rope length, and the children also jumped with light movements.

After this, a competition was held, and the children competed in front jump, double jump, and twill jump to see if they could keep jumping for 30 seconds or 1 minute, and when they achieved it, they showed off a fist pump.

In addition, in the long rope jump, in which seven to eight children each jump from a 4-meter long rope, each group of children jumped in unison.

One girl who participated said, ``I can now do the back double jump after being taught.''

Hayato Arima of the Children's Association Liaison Council, which organized the event, said, ``We asked Mr. Ikuyama to come because we wanted the children to be exposed to the world's best techniques, which would lead to their growth. We hope that the children will learn the joy of rope jumping. That's good," he said.
