  The Baisha Cultural and Sports Center where the "Guozihao" sports team members gather is the largest sports facility in central Hainan Island. In June 2020, the center was named the "National Sports Training Southern Base (Hainan Baisha Comprehensive)" by the State Sports General Administration of China. Seven national sports associations, including the Chinese Boxing Association, the Chinese Mountaineering Association, and the Chinese Modern Pentathlon Association, have successively set up training bases for nine individual sports here.

  The reporter learned that during the winter training in Baisha, some archery athletes shot results that exceeded China's domestic record. Rock climbing is a new Olympic sport.   Wen Yawen, deputy director of the Tourism, Culture, Radio, Television and Sports Bureau of Baisha Li Autonomous County, said that, driven by "national" sports teams such as the national boxing team, provincial and municipal sports teams have also become "frequent visitors" to Baisha.
