At only 15 years old, Arielle Beck is already an established pianist. The teenager is participating this Saturday in the 30th edition of La Folle jour de Nantes. Europe 1 was able to meet this young prodigy, who leads an extraordinary existence, but a little different from young people her age.

A 15-year-old virtuoso. Arielle Beck, the prodigy pianist with golden hands, is participating in the 30th edition of La Folle jour de Nantes, a classical music festival. Europe 1 was able to meet her. Corneille wrote it, Arielle Beck confirms it: “talent does not wait for the number of years”. At 15 years old, the teenager sets no limits for herself. Her life, she is convinced, will be spent behind a keyboard. "I prefer to dedicate myself to that completely. I think it's better, in your mind, to be very clear with yourself, telling yourself that that's all there is."

“I’m not on social media at all.”

No plan B for the virtuoso recognized in the four corners of Europe who follows her education remotely, aware that she leads an existence a little out of step with young people of her age. "Of course it's a little different: I don't go shopping, I've never played sports with balls hitting my hands too hard, it's not possible, I can't do tennis, it requires one arm more than the other... I'm not on social networks at all, but maybe that's good, I have other things to do and that's not a problem" , explains the young girl.
