Laurent Mariotte SEASON 2023 - 2024 12:30 p.m., February 3, 2024

Laurent Mariotte surrounds himself with bon vivants for a show around everyday cooking: whether they are chefs, artists or intellectuals, they have in common this passion for eating well and share it for 1h30 with Europe 1 listeners. Gourmet walks through the markets and among producers, simple recipes and advice close to the concerns of listeners... The unmissable meeting place for gourmands!

Program of the show:

Seasonal products and advice, Laurent Mariotte and his bon vivants are here for the sixth season of La table des Bon vivants! A show to help you eat well and understand what you eat.

This week, Laurent Mariotte is surrounded by Lyon chef Sonia Ezgulian and journalist from the Revue du vin de France Olivier Poels. Every week, Laurent Mariotte and his columnists tell you about their taste of the week. It could be a flavor that marked their week, a restaurant that caught their eye, a dish that they cooked or that we concocted for them. The opportunity to discover new tastes or new addresses, favorites but also, for them, to have rants. This week, Laurent Mariotte makes us salivate with a Limousin rump steak. Sonia Ezgulian tells us about a new magazine: Mordu. And Olivier Poels tells us that he rediscovered Belgian potato croquettes.

This is also an opportunity for you, dear Europe 1 listeners, to tell us your taste of the week. For this you have two solutions: on the Europe 1 answering machine at 01 80 20 39 21 (non-premium rate number) or on the Facebook page of the show “Laurent Mariotte, the group of good people from Europe 1”. One listener will be selected each week.

This week's report is dedicated to Candlemas! It was yesterday... What are your great pancake memories? This is the question that Anthony Da Silva asked you, in the Tanguy restaurant in the 10th arrondissement of Paris. At the billig, Gwilherm Tanguy officiates. And then Laurent Mariotte and his columnists give you ideas for making crepes and cooking them successfully.

In this week's issue, focus on the farmers' movement. Laurent Mariotte and his columnists take stock of the situation and the series of measures announced by Prime Minister Gabriel Attal. A young farmer, cheese maker and partner with her cow breeder parents tells us how she gets by. Part of the milk is sold to manufacturers, another is transformed into cheese. She sells these cheeses to La fromagerie de Lucie du GAEC de la Piardiere, in Les Hermites, in Indre-et-Loire.

A profession connected with farmers: charcutiers. Laurent Mariotte receives Nicolas Verot from Maison Verot, in Paris. He talks about what it's like to be a charcutier and the essential products in the stores.

As in every episode, the bon vivant table team continues to play with you. Laurent Mariotte makes you listen to a sound related to cooking... it's up to you to discover it.

Laurent Mariotte and his columnists then talk about an angry subject: bottled water producers, who have illegally filtered their water. And Sonia Ezgulian tells us about new cooking tips.

For the last half hour of the show, Laurent Mariotte welcomes the actress and singer Elisa Tovati. She was revealed in the film La Vérité si je mens, she likes cheese and persimmons and today released her 6th album: Elisa fait son cinema, 17 film songs. Like every week, a chef comes to cook the dish of the day. On the menu: spelled risotto, candied onion, gremolata and savory. It is made by chef Etienne Ferreira of Brasserie Valma, in Paris. You can find the recipe on Europe1.fr.

At the end of the episode, Olivier Poels says that winegrowers are also affected by the crisis.

Finally, Laurent Mariotte puts the actress and singer Elisa Tovati on the bon vivant grill. She answers Laurent Mariotte's questions so that we get to know her better on the other side of the fork. What is your childhood dish? What do you always find in your fridge? What is your secret address? What is the word for hunger? Here are some of the questions asked by Laurent Mariotte. Elisa Tovati says that even at a very young age she set herself challenges in the kitchen!
