Martin published a post on his blog called “Dark Days.” In it, the writer discusses the current geopolitical and cultural situations in the world. In his opinion, social networks have become as toxic an environment as the society around them. Martin noted that while it used to be possible to have lively discussions about favorite books and films, now on the Internet it is more common to talk about what people hate.
“The era of rational discourse appears to be over,” the author wrote.
