An employee of the Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare registered an incorrect address on the ministry's internal mailing list, and since September last year, Prime Minister Kishida's draft answers to the Diet and the personal information of 675 private and government employees have been sent in error. I understand that.

So far, no damage such as information being misused has been confirmed, but the Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare says it is working to prevent recurrence.

According to sources, last year, an employee of the Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare's Health and Welfare Bureau registered the wrong address when adding a private address to the ministry's mailing list as an emergency contact on holidays.

After that, the mailing list continued to be operated for about four months from September last year to late January without realizing the error, and as a result, in addition to Prime Minister Kishida's Diet response draft and internal documents before publication, private and government The personal information of a total of 675 people, including the names, mobile numbers, and email addresses of the agency's employees, was leaked through an erroneously sent email.

As of now, no damage such as information being misused has been confirmed.

The Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare says it will reconsider how private email addresses are used and work to prevent recurrence.
