Last August, a 10-month-old boy died after being left in a car in the hot sun for about two and a half hours starting around 10 a.m. in the parking lot of a commercial facility in Yahatanishi Ward, Kitakyushu City.

Police recreated the same situation and found that the temperature inside the car reached 49.5 degrees.

According to the police, the parents were shopping at the time, the father entered the store first with other siblings, and the mother entered the store later after locking the car. "I thought so," he said.

As a result, police have charged the 26-year-old mother and 27-year-old father with gross negligence resulting in the boy's death from dehydration and heat stroke due to gross negligence in forgetting to take the boy out of the car and leaving him there to go shopping. I sent the documents to the prosecutor.

According to police, the two have admitted to the charges and said, ``I feel sorry for the child.''

According to police, the boy's child seat was placed in the back seat with the front facing the window, making it difficult to see the boy inside the car.
