The Schwanholz and Pistorius couples: wedding between the years

Federal Defense Minister Boris Pistorius (SPD) got married. A spokesman for the Ministry of Defense confirmed this to SPIEGEL. The “Bild” newspaper first reported. The wedding therefore took place between Christmas and New Year's Eve.
Pistorius' wife is the political scientist Julia Schwanholz. She is an academic councilor at the Institute for Political Science at the University of Duisburg-Essen and also a member of the SPD. The two have probably been dating each other for more than a year.
From 2016 to 2022, Pistorius was with Doris Schröder-Köpf (SPD), the ex-wife of former Chancellor Gerhard Schröder (SPD).
