A 48-year-old man from Tornesch in the Pinneberg district was sentenced to 14 years in prison by the Itzehoe regional court for, among other things, serious sexual abuse of a girl. In addition, the defendant was ordered to be placed in preventive detention, a court spokeswoman said.

Conviction for 82 offenses

According to the information, the man met the victim's mother at a mother-child treatment center and became friends with her. The abuse in the girl's case began in 2015 and lasted several years. In one case, another child was affected.
According to NDR, when officers searched the defendant's apartment on February 7, 2023, according to police information, in addition to the self-made images and videos, they found around 300,000 other files with videos and photos showing sexual acts with children.
