Personally, I was very happy about the news that the State Duma adopted a law on the confiscation of property for fakes about the Russian Armed Forces and calls to fight against the state.

And not only because some are so carried away by both the spread of these very fakes and the admissions that part of their fees goes to the Armed Forces of Ukraine, and therefore to the murder of our citizens.

The fact that now this area will be regulated by law will somewhat cool the hot heads of some of our activists, who have recently become so carried away by the witch hunt that they were ready to roll over not only outright enemies, but also those who are somehow in trouble -irritates them.

Therefore, since we live in a rule of law state, where the law is at the forefront, and not the personal sympathies of social activists, this norm will not allow a) to ignore those who deserve it, b) to punish the innocent.

What is noteworthy: we are talking specifically about property or money that is obtained by criminal means and is used to finance illegal activities. And both of these circumstances will need to be proven. Which, of course, will slightly increase the time period of the process and will require some effort, but again, from the point of view of the law, it will be absolutely correct.

Another thing is that we still haven’t decided what is considered fake in our country. Indeed, in our native information space, megatons of various kinds of information come from various kinds of “experts” and “bloggers”. And often it is not true, playing into the hands of our enemy and unnerving our fellow citizens. I will not now list everyone who was at least once noticed in non-compliance with information hygiene, but did not receive any reprimand for it. You probably already know who we are talking about. But how will the law determine the line that separates a banal desire to hype from intentional sabotage? I think this is a very subtle, but extremely important point that also needs to be worked out. In order to reduce the volume of stuffing, and not leave half of our Telegram segment without pants.

As for those who have been deliberately and deliberately lying about our army for a long time, and also share their income with our enemies, it is high time to let them go around the world, stripped naked. Because they not only deserve it. The trick is that for them, who measure everything in this life exclusively by money, this will be the most terrible punishment.

And another important point. No matter how much this entire public boasts that, they say, they will still earn money, remember: this is a bluff. Because no one needs them there. Thus, rare performances “for their own” in the Matryoshka tavern in Brighton or “lodging” for people like themselves.

No stadiums or huge concert halls with a sold-out symphony orchestra. No pre-orders or instant sales of the entire circulation of new books.

No leading roles with all the perks that entails. Nothing! Radio rotations, autograph sessions, noisy premieres, advertising contracts - all this is already a thing of the past.

Well, tell me, who, besides our former fellow citizens nostalgic for their youth, will go to Makarevich’s concert*? Or he’ll buy Ulitskaya’s book. Or he will listen to Bykov’s lectures**. No one. The Western man in the street has his own idols. And they don’t need all this, pretty shabby and dull.

So all we can do is wait for the law to come into force and, sitting in the front row with army binoculars, watch the process of fair punishment of those who, trying to earn a cheap reputation among strangers, committed the most terrible sin by taking the path betrayal of those who once considered them their own.
