Shortly after 8 a.m. on the 1st, a man sitting in the passenger seat of a passenger car called the fire department on the outbound line of the Meishin Expressway in Imafuku-cho, Ogaki City, Gifu Prefecture, saying that a flying object had hit his passenger car.

According to police, the windshield near the driver's seat of the car was broken, and the driver, a man in his 40s, was unconscious and in critical condition with head injuries.

When the man in the passenger seat made the report, he said, ``A package flew from the car in front of me and hit the driver,'' but according to police, the object that hit me was from another car. It is not known whether it fell or not, and the cars that fell into it have not been confirmed.
