Europe 1: DAB+ is expanding for your radio!

Europe 1 is now available in DAB+: a new technology for broadcasting radio in digital quality, at home, in the car and without subscription. Listen to your favorite radio with optimum listening quality. 

DAB+, the radio equivalent of DTT on television, is now available for Europe 1 here: 

• A4: Reims – Strasbourg (25 sites)

• A9: Montpellier – Perpignan (10 sites)

• A10: Tours – Bordeaux (25 sites)

• A13: Paris - Le Havre – Caen (17 sites)

• A16: Beauvais – Dunkirk (18 sites)

• A31: Nancy – Dijon (9 sites)

• A40 – A41 and A43: Lyon – Alps (17 sites)

• A61: Toulouse - Narbonne (5 sites)

• A62: Toulouse – Bordeaux (13 sites)

• A63: Bordeaux – Bayonne (13 sites)

• A89: Saint-Étienne – Clermont-Ferrand (1 site)

• N12 - N157: Laval – Brest (22 sites)

• Montauban (1 site)

• Mont-de-Marsan (1 site)

Communicating about DAB+ responds to an essential awareness issue: today only 17% of French people are aware of DAB+ while diffusion will take significant steps in 2024. In fact, at the end of March, we will reach more than 60% of the population covered by the metropolitan deployment of DAB+, 45 of the 50 largest cities in France and all the routes that connect them will be covered.
