China News Service, Beijing, January 31 (Reporter Xu Jing) Starting from February 2, 11 municipal parks such as the Summer Palace, Temple of Heaven, and Beihai in Beijing, as well as the Chinese Garden Museum, have successively launched New Year flower appreciation, blessings in famous gardens, and cultural performances. There are more than 80 activities in nine categories. Each park has arranged 39 Spring Festival-themed landscapes in the gate area square and main scenic spots to create a festive, joyful and peaceful holiday garden atmosphere.

Writing blessings, sending blessings, and climbing high to pray are traditional activities during the Spring Festival. Xiangshan Park carries out stamp-collecting and blessing activities at five scenic spots including Qinzheng Hall, Zhiyuanzhai, Spectacle Lake, Jianxinzhai and Xiangshan Temple. Tourists and citizens can also go to Jingshan Park to celebrate the New Year and the Year of the Dragon, and go to Beihai Park to view exhibitions at Chanfu Temple and the gardens along Taiye Lake.
