A nun has filed a petition with the Tendai sect in Shikoku to revoke the priesthood of the priest and two others, alleging that she has been sexually assaulted by the chief priest over a period of more than ten years.

The person who filed the complaint was a nun in her 50s living in Shikoku, whose legal name is Eiatsu, and she met with her attorney in Tokyo on January 31st.

Eiatsu claims that from 2009 until January last year, the chief priest of a Tendai sect temple in Shikoku, who is in his 60s, threatened him with threats such as ``If you disobey him, you will go to hell,'' and that he repeatedly sexually assaulted him.

When his mother passed away, he consulted a relative of his, a high priest in his 80s, and he was introduced to this chief priest, but he claims that even when he asked for help from the high priest, he did not respond. Masu.

For this reason, he submitted a declaration to the Tendai sect to have his priesthood removed as chief priest and high priest, accusing him of having been placed in a state of psychological confinement for a long period of time by taking advantage of his faith.

Eitsu filed a criminal complaint against his chief priest in 2019, alleging that he had been sexually assaulted, but the charges were dismissed.

Eiatsu said, ``A monk who is supposed to be admonishing people has done a great crime in destroying the character of one person, and I hope that the Tendai sect will take appropriate action.''

In response to an interview, the chief priest said, ``I have nothing to say at this time.''

In addition, the Tendai Religious Affairs Agency stated, ``We are currently discussing our response and cannot comment at this time.''
