The plan calls for the hospital director and chairperson to resign as they are responsible for neglecting the management and review of the medical system, as well as to review the nursing system, which is centered on part-time staff, and to increase the proportion of full-time staff. .

In addition, the hospital stated that it has not provided sufficient support for discharge from hospital, and will establish a system to confirm patients' intentions to leave the hospital and support their lives in the community.

Going forward, the Tokyo Metropolitan Government will monitor the progress of the initiative and request hospitals to report on the progress of improvements.

Takiyama Hospital said, ``Once again, we would like to sincerely apologize to the patients who suffered abuse and their families. It is no mean feat to restore the social trust that has been lost, and the hospital will continue to work hard to ensure that such incidents of abuse do not occur again.'' This will lead to the reconstruction of the area."
