An investigation has revealed that an employee at the head office who was arrested for instructing the cutting of a street tree in front of a used car sales company "Big Motor" store had personally visited the store as part of an "environmental maintenance inspection." We found this out through interviews with the people involved. Police are investigating in detail the circumstances surrounding his visit to the store.

Suspect Toshiyuki Kambara (51), an employee of Big Motor, is suspected of damaging property for allegedly instructing the cutting down of roadside trees in front of the Kawasaki store in Kawasaki City two years ago while working at the company's headquarters. He was arrested and sent to the public prosecutor's office on the 31st.

At the time, the suspect held the position of "Environmental Improvement Promotion Committee," but according to investigators, the suspect visited stores in person, based on seized business records and testimonies from company officials. That's what I learned from things like that.

Regarding environmental maintenance inspections, a report compiled by a special investigation committee set up by the company states, ``General managers and deputy managers from the headquarters go out of their way to visit target stores in advance, confirm the situation, and conduct actual inspections by management. "There were times when we were prepared."
