He said that the current time falls on the maximum of solar activity, so over the course of two years there are quite a lot of flares.

“Several dozen of these medium-sized flares can be seen per day. This is a normal process for maximum solar activity,” said RT’s interlocutor. 

He also noted that the high-class flare that occurred on the Sun on January 29 is not dangerous and will not entail magnetic storms.

“The fact is that the substance that flew out flew away from the Earth. And even if it touches some edge at all, then the disturbance will be insignificant,” the specialist added.
