Apparently the truck driver had a very sound sleep - or the thieves were particularly quiet at work: In a parking lot near Plauen, thieves pumped 700 liters of diesel from the tank of his parked truck. The police announced this early Monday morning.
Meanwhile, the driver was sleeping in his truck and was unaware of the theft. It wasn't until early Monday morning that he realized what had happened.
The crime took place in the Neuensalz parking lot on the A72 near Plauen. According to the police, the damage is 1,200 euros.
