Netflix's big hit with viewers "Love is blind" has created a great deal of engagement in Sweden as well as abroad. One of the couples that has received the most attention is Amanda Rincón Jonegård and Sergio Rincón.
After dating for about ten hours without seeing each other, Sergio got down on one knee and proposed to Amanda.
During the last episode, which was released on Sunday night, the couple revealed that they are expecting a child.
- This is the dream, it is the biggest thing there is, says Sergio.
While the show has been on air, the couple have had to keep a low profile, with Amanda trying to hide her stomach as best she can. In the last week, she has spent all her time at home after she saw on social media that people began to speculate about their big news.
- It feels good that it's out now, says Amanda.
Sergio had a child with another woman
But that wasn't the only news the couple had to share during the reunion. During the season there was a rumor among the other participants that Sergio was expecting a child with a woman in Barcelona, which he himself denied.
But after the couple had only been married for barely two months, it emerged that Sergio had a child with another woman.
- It has been such a rollercoaster of emotions. But it has made our relationship much stronger. We have really talked through this off camera, says Sergio.
The couple does not want to reveal an exact date for the expected birth, but reveals that it is "late spring". But for Amanda and Sergio, the experiment has worked - and their love was blind.
