At a high school in Kure City, Hiroshima Prefecture, a sports day was held on the 8th for the first time in four years without restrictions due to measures against the new coronavirus, and parents and others cheered.

At Kure Mitsuda High School in Kure City, restrictions were taken for infection control measures, such as limiting the participation of parents to one person and refraining from speaking out for three years until last year due to the influence of the new coronavirus.

On the 8th, about 4 people, including parents, came to the sports day, which was held on a scale before the spread of infection for the first time in four years, and cheered on the students of the cheer team club and the inter-class relay players.

In addition, in the inter-grade ball throwing competition, the students threw balls hard at a basket about 500 meters high.

In addition to the participation of kindergarten children from local kindergartens, Kure City's mascot character "Mr. Kure" also made a surprise appearance to liven up the venue.

Then, when the competition was over, everyone counted the number of balls out loud and cheered when they saw the first-place team.

A second-year student said, "It's fun because the corona restrictions have disappeared and I can cheer without keeping a distance from everyone."

Tetsuya Yamada, principal of Kure Mitsuda High School, said, "Due to the influence of Corona, the events have been reduced and the students have been told that they feel sorry for them, so it was good that various people were able to see the hard work of such students."
