One of the Noh performances, "Takasago", which is said to be auspicious, such as being called the seat of the bride and groom at the wedding reception, was performed at "* Takasago Shrine" in Hyogo Prefecture.

"Takasago" is said to have originated from Takasago Shrine in Takasago City, Hyogo Prefecture, and since the main characters are an elderly couple who are the spirits of the "Aioi no Matsu" in the shrine, it is popular at celebrations with the hope that they will be friends forever.

On the 8th, a performance was held at the shrine, and more than 500 people attended.

First, Kyogen master Mansai Nomura performed the Kyogen performance "* Sue Hirokari".

Next, "Takasago" was performed by a Noh performer, and the audience watched the elegant dance in a solemn atmosphere.

A 69-year-old man who visited with his wife said, "It was a good experience to see Noh in front of me for the first time, and I would like to see it again if I have the chance."
