• Exclusive The cause of the sadness of Alejandro Sanz: the crisis with Rachel Valdés, who has already left the singer's house

The Madrid artist Alejandro Sanz has begun this Saturday the second stage of the tour "Sanz en Vivo" with a concert at the Navarra Arena pavilion in Pamplona in which his fans wanted to show their support and affection in the face of the new personal crisis that the singer is going through.

On May 27, Sanz announced on social networks a health problem from which he tries to recover: "I'm not well. I don't know if this is of any use but I want to say it. I'm sad and tired (...) Sometimes I don't even want to be", although days later he qualified his message somewhat stating: "Although the light does not finish, it seems that a firefly has awakened in my chest".

During his concert, the artist has felt wrapped up at all times by the thousands of people who have gathered at the Navarra Arena, with whom he has been quoted for something later: "Then we talk, that concerts are not done alone".

About to finish his performance, the artist thanked his followers for the affection shown during the concert, words to which the audience has responded with a prolonged ovation, which Sanz has received visibly moved.

"Never forget how important it is to be close to the people you love," said the singer, who has pointed out about his state of health: "To these things we never try to find a why, it is not for anything or anyone."

The Spaniard has acknowledged that this concert was his "litmus test" and, apparently on stage, he has passed it with a note.

In his opening concert of the tour, Alejandro Sanz has offered his followers a show of more than two hours in which, in addition to reviewing his greatest hits such as "Corazón Partío", "Amiga mía" or "Mi persona favorita", he has interpreted some of the songs included in his latest studio work, "Sanz", which has been nominated for Album of the Year at the Latin Grammy Awards 2022 and has been the best-selling physical album in Spain in 2021.

He finished his performance by offering some encores with the red scarf of San Fermín knotted around his neck

The singer has been on stage at the Navarra Arena accompanied by his band, formed by Mike Ciro (musical direction, electric guitar, acoustic guitar and Spanish guitar), Alfonso Pérez (musical direction, piano, keyboards, acoustic guitar and choirs), Carlos Martín (percussion, trombone and wind arrangements), Mirón Rafajlovic (trumpet, acoustic guitar and electric guitar), Helen de la Rosa (drums), Brigitte Sosa (bass and synth bass), Glenda del Monte (piano, keyboards and backing vocals), Chris Hierro (hammond, keyboards, programming and backing vocals), Txell Sust (backing vocals) and Karina Pasian (backing vocals).

The followers of the Madrid artist have been able to enjoy again the intimate and passionate live of a singer who has sold more than 25 million records and who in 2017 was awarded by the Latin Recording Academy as Person of the Year, in recognition of his entire career.

The world tour that the artist is carrying out in 2023, with more than 60 confirmed dates, has already passed through Mexico, Colombia, Peru, Ecuador, Chile, Uruguay and Argentina, reaching a total of 27 "no tickets" and more than 250,000 attendees.

The rest of the Spanish cities where the "Sanz en Vivo 2023" tour will take place, until August 3, are Úbeda, Córdoba, Valencia, Barcelona, Granada, Albacete, Madrid (with two great dates at the Wizink Center), Malaga, Chiclana de la Frontera, Roquetas de Mar, Murcia, Alicante, Onda and again Chiclana de la Frontera at the Concert Music Festival.
