Cousins Kendrick Lamar & Baby Keem are back. This time with the light-hearted and catchy "The Hillbillies" – which differs greatly from Kendrick Lamar's acclaimed album "Mr. Morale & the Big Steppers" from last year.

– It was a very deep and heavy album that, among other things, deals with traumas that go down through generations. So to hear Kendrick now put rather frivolous lines on a happy beat is fun, says Mariana Benyamin Sir in Morgonstudion.

Nineties-inspired

Superstar Burna Boy is back with the single "Sittin' on top of the world" and it has traces of the nineties. Like Burna Boy's 2022 megahit, "Last last," he has once again sampled producer Darkchild, now Brandy's "Top of the World" from 1998 that inspired Burna Boy.

– I think this will be very popular, says Mariana Benyamin Sir.

Swedish debut

Swedish Jacqline came second in Idol 2021, and now she releases her debut single "Question my love", which sounds significantly more experienced than the artist's mere 24 years.

"It's a little pop, a little r'n'b, a little afrobeats. A song you can dance to and that is about not questioning her love, says Mariana Benyamin Sir.
