It is 14:18 p.m. when Asier Rodriguez Santos calls the headquarters of the K&K supermarket chain in Gronau, North Rhine-Westphalia. "We'll be there in ten minutes," he tells the unsuspecting man on the other end of the line.

Rodriguez Santos and his accomplices disguised themselves as couriers for a cash-in-transit company. They are sitting in a money transporter that they have obtained via the Internet and covered with magnetic sheets.

For months, the gang has been preparing for the big coup. They even got themselves polo shirts flocked with the logo of the real company. And, of course, replicas of the firearms. It's the run-up to Christmas, and the supermarket chain's daily income is particularly high now. Leader Santos estimates it in advance at three million euros. When he drives onto the K+K site, it is 14:30 p.m. The money transporter, which is supposed to pick up the proceeds, is still on its way. The gangsters have about 15 minutes to complete the million-dollar deal. Fifteen minutes to get rich.

In the second episode of the "Interrogation" season, Rodriguez Santos reports on the meticulous preparations for his coup. And why he almost went wrong.
