Police have provisionally arrested a 27-year-old man who allegedly killed his 24-year-old brother on Saturday evening. According to initial findings, the two were alone in their parents' apartment in Nürtingen in Baden-Württemberg when the man is said to have seriously injured his brother with a knife. This was announced by the police on Sunday. The officers are investigating manslaughter.

Relatives from the neighborhood had alerted the police on Saturday evening, after the suspect is said to have told them about the crime. The officers found the victim dead in the apartment. The background to the fratricidal conflict was not known at first.
