In the large-scale raid against activists of the climate protection group "Last Generation", the apartment of her spokeswoman Carla Hinrichs in Berlin's Kreuzberg district was also searched. The climate activist was shocked by how the search of her house had gone. Police officers are said to have taken her out of bed at gunpoint, she reported. Now this operation could have consequences.

Criminal complaint filed via Internet guard

"It's hard to imagine. You only know it from the movies.« Police officers thundered against her door on Wednesday morning and shouted "police." And all of a sudden, a policeman with a bulletproof gun is standing in front of your bed and pointing a gun at you," Hinrichs says in a video she posted on her Twitter account.

On Friday, a criminal complaint was filed via the Internet station of the police, reports the "Tagesspiegel". As a result, investigations were initiated. Officials and Hinrichs are to be interrogated. The police are not allowed to provide further information.

Police searched 15 homes

With the raid, the police and the public prosecutor's office had taken action against the climate protection group on Wednesday morning. Around 170 officers searched 15 homes and business premises in seven federal states, according to the Munich Public Prosecutor's Office and the Bavarian State Office of Criminal Investigation. The accusation is of forming or supporting a criminal organization.

Seven defendants, who are between 22 and 38 years old, are being investigated. Five of them, according to the Prosecutor General's Office, are accused of forming a criminal organization, two of support.

Hinrichs is one of the best-known faces of the »Last Generation« and has already been convicted several times for participating in road blockades.
