Next Sunday's elections will be decisive for the future of Spain. The first electoral appointment of a year of high political voltage will constitute the autonomous and municipal landscape of our country for the next four years, a responsibility that EL MUNDO assumes by offering all its digital content for free from this Friday until the election day of 28-M, with an informative and analysis display at the height of a historic moment.

The best reporters of the newspaper already visit the places that will determine the configuration of the parliaments of 13 Spanish regions, and will mark the local politics of the nearest future, to know the feeling of the street and interview the most prominent names of politics closest to the day to day of citizens. In addition, the most influential firms of EL MUNDO will analyze the before and after the appointment with the polls.

In an act of democratic accountability, all the digital content of the newspaper will be free of charge between May 26 and 28. To be able to enjoy all the information and the best opinion columns without limits, you just have to register in ELMUNDO.es before next Sunday.

"Newspapers act as depositories of the right to receive reliable information, which belongs to all citizens, and our social function in democracy is particularly sensitive during electoral periods, when public opinion finishes forming its criteria to decide the vote," says Joaquín Manso, director of EL MUNDO. "For this reason, although we have adopted a sustained business model on subscriptions to guarantee their investment in the production of premium quality journalistic content, during the last day of the electoral campaign, on the day of reflection and on 28-M itself, we will fulfill the vocation of public service that has distinguished us since 1989."

EL MUNDO has already surpassed 115,000 digital subscribers, a milestone that far exceeds the estimates made three and a half years ago, when it became the first national media to launch a payment model in Spain. The commitment of readers is especially evident in the percentage of annual subscribers, which is already 75%.
