In Brandenburg, after several days of searching, the body of a 21-year-old was found in a lake. "We assume that it is one of the missing," said a spokesman for the police in Neuruppin. Emergency services had recovered the dead in the morning in the Great Wentowsee.
The two men had not returned from a celebration on Ascension Day in the Zabelsdorf district of the city of Zehdenick, the next day they were reported missing. Since the police found the jacket and bag of one of the two men at the Great Wentow Lake, the search focused on the lake.
Among other things, special sniffer dogs were driven across the lake in boats, and divers also searched the water. According to the spokesman, the search measures continue because the second man is still missing.
