These are just some of the 15 routes of the tourist trains that run through Galicia in full and that are already available. In addition, the season arrives with novelties, since the characteristic routes of the pazos, the wines or the monasteries are joined by novelties such as the Mega Experience itinerary and A Coruña of 1906, a journey through time around beer.

With it we start these original proposals of Tourism of Galicia and Renfe that every year attract from all over the world to enjoy on rails, in addition to knowing the different enclaves of the Galician territory through visits to museums, towns and monuments, river walks, culinary tastings ... Travelers to the train, that this starts.

1. Mega Experience and A Coruña of 1906

The protagonist of this new route is Estrella Galicia, Galician beer whose production began in 1906. This trip offers the possibility of visiting the Mega Museum, the first dedicated to this drink in our country. Immersive, the proposal includes, in addition to the visit to its facilities, a tasting of beer and Galician gastronomic products. The municipality of Abegondo and the Cecebre reservoir will also be known.

2. Medieval monasteries

We continue traveling on rails towards the Pazo de Oca, the Galician Versailles, to also visit the monasteries of Carboeiro, of Benedictine character, or that of Oseira, the first Cistercience of the region. There is also time to discover O Carballiño and its Temple of Veracruz, as well as the Great Spa and take a walk following the course of the Arenteiro River.

3. Camellias in bloom

It is one of the most original routes, since it allows you to enjoy this floral show through a visit to the gardens of the Pazo de Quinteiro da Cruz, with its more than 1000 varieties of camellias. 4. The Rías Baixas

5. The lighthouses of the North Coast

6. The roads of Santiago

7. The Ribeira Sacra and Valdeorras

8. As Mariñas

9 and 10. Ribeira Sacra (Sil and Miño)

11. O Ribeiro and Rías Baixas

12. The historic pazos and gardens

13. Monterrei

The Galician itineraries end with the Monterrei Denomination of Origin, tasting some of its wines in the homonymous castle. Passengers will also discover the Gargalo winery, Verín, the village of Allariz and its International Garden Festival, on the right bank of the Arnoia River. The trip ends at the Baños de Molgas railway station, converted into a museum and restaurant.

14. The cheeses of Galicia

Here comes one of the most appetizing proposals of Renfe, since you discover the Casa do Queixo de Sobrado, where there will be the possibility of tasting the cheeses of the denominations of origin Tetilla and Arzúa-Ulloa. The Don Crisanto cheese factory is also on the route, as well as the visit to Arqueixal Ecoturismo, in Palas del Rei.

15. The world of the lamprey

It's time to head to Tui from Pontevedra to get to know the world of lamprey. The proposal includes visiting the Castle of Salvaterra de Miño and the Museum of Wine Science. Also the work of the pesqueiras, the centennial constructions that serve to capture the lamprey in the river Miño.
