Singer Loboda with hybrid citizenship (now considering herself Ukrainian) gave an interview to the German media-foreign agent. The presenter with a serious expression on his face asked her a question: "And these eight years have not prepared you for anything?" The singer clearly said: "On February 24, a full-scale war began. Until that moment, everyone called it their own way."

I know what you are going to say now: "Loboda again?! But who needs this Loboda? Stop writing about it!" But let's be honest. The question of eight years has become almost the main one in 2022. The Russians, who supported their country, constantly asked it to those who renounced Russia: "Where have you been for eight years? And why did you not notice the war in Donbass for all eight years?" We did not receive an intelligible answer. The "liberal" public left him, calling the question itself provocative and "from the Kremlin's manuals." But personally, I have always sincerely asked this question, wanting to understand the logic of such people. And so the singer Loboda brought shameless clarity to the question.

"The businesses worked between Russians and Ukrainians," she continued. - And our president worked with Russia, had factories in Russia. And Ukrainian artists worked in the Russian market, and Russian artists came to Ukraine and gave concerts ... Everything was interpreted very differently, but no one called it a war. But when the tanks came and missiles flew at our country, it became obvious and understandable that from that moment the point of no return occurred.

You know, I'm even a little offended by such straightforward cynicism.

There is nothing to even discuss. After all, in fact, a person says: "All eight years everything was fine with us personally, everything was great and good, everyone earned money, rode back and forth, but then the rockets flew not at others, but directly at us. And when it's right in us, it's already a war."

"And it was the feeling that this was all," Loboda added. "That you won't be able to build a career anymore." Observing such extreme frankness, I would even say, animal cynicism, how not to ask the question: well, why don't these people even bother to beautifully furnish their answers?! After all, you can, at least for the sake of decency, say: "Yes, there, in the Donbass, people have been dying all these eight years, we knew about it and worried, but ..." And the answer would have already begun to sound at least somehow human.

But no. There is a woman in whose country there was a civil war with heavy casualties for eight years. Which, by the way, if I saw the tank, it was only on TV.

The fighting did not affect her physically, only financially. And she, without embarrassment, says that for her the war began only after she lost the opportunity to build a career and earn money.

And here you get the desired answer to the very question: "What have you been doing for eight years?" They learned cynicism. After all, when people, out of selfish motives, turn a blind eye to the fact that people are dying somewhere nearby, they are covered with a rather thick crust of cynicism. So the question of the presenter: "And these eight years have not prepared you for anything?" - right to the point. Prepared for entry into 2022 by complete cynics.
