Summer is approaching, Hong Shuyun, who is about to graduate from university, arranged her graduation trip on the agenda early, and she was keen to check in historical monuments, and she set the location of her graduation trip in the ancient capital Luoyang. She plans to put on ancient costumes and have an "immersive experience" in the streets of the ancient capital.

Unlike Hong Shuyun, Huang Lulu, who studied in a university in Shandong, is more concerned about "efficiency", holding the idea of "coming here, can't leave regrets", she once arranged a trip to Beijing to be full, "three days and three nights, the Summer Palace, the Summer Palace, Nanluoguxiang, the Palace Museum... Not a single one is left behind. ”

Recently, the topic of college student travel has frequently appeared on the hot search. The "May Day" short holiday is coming, and students from all over the world will set off a new round of travel fever. China Youth Daily launched a questionnaire survey for college students across the country, and a total of 150,2087 valid questionnaires from 82 colleges and universities were collected. According to the survey results, 7.<>% of the surveyed university students have planned to travel this year.

"Horse check-in" and "immersive experience" are all completed

Some of the interviewed students arranged their travel plans for this year's May Day holiday. The survey found that 46.1% of the surveyed college students traveled an average of three to four days each time, and 39.5% of the surveyed college students chose to travel within one day or one to two days. Another 14.4 percent of the surveyed university students chose to travel for five to six days, or more than a week. In addition, many of the surveyed university students preferred short-distance inter-provincial and intra-provincial tours, accounting for 62.9% and 49.8% of the total number of interviewees.

Huang Lulu is a participant in the provincial tour, and after hearing the popular saying "youth has no price, Mount Tai is at your feet", she came to a trip to Taishan that she walked. However, the dense flow of people who "look up is the belly, and turn back is the face" is still beyond Huang Lulu's expectations. Mount Tai's more than 7000,<> steps made Huang Lulu "complain for days", so he had to sigh at the magnificent scenery of Mount Tai while summing up his experience, "Climbing the mountain is really bitter, Mount Tai will equally 'punish' every hard-mouthed college student, tourism still has to do what you can." ”

Also experiencing the "double speed travel" was Duan Haixia from a university in Yunnan. From 6 a.m. to 10 p.m., during the 18 hours of speedy travel, she checked in 6 well-known attractions in Hong Kong through 9 modes of high-speed rail, subway, ship, bus, ropeway and walking, during which she also tasted special delicacies such as pho, bean ice, powder ice, pineapple buns, and Hong Kong-style milk tea.

The survey found that 50.6% of the surveyed college students said they liked "double-speed travel", while 49.4% of the surveyed college students said they did not like this model. Among the respondents who prefer this model, 62.3% believe that choosing this mode is limited by travel time and budget; 54.2% of respondents believe that this model can improve tourism efficiency; 53.9% of respondents believe that this can make up for the regret that they have not been there before; 46.9% of respondents believe that this can pursue excitement and freshness, and release stress in this way; 28.7% of the respondents were influenced by online media publicity, which triggered imitation.

Corresponding to "speed travel", "immersive travel" was loved by 87.9% of the surveyed college students. 83.6% of respondents value the experience of "immersive travel"; 60.3% of the respondents believe that "immersion" integrates diversified information such as background, culture, and story, and is highly learning; 57.0% of the respondents thought that this model is more interesting and interactive.

Not long ago, Wu Yakun, who studied at a university in Jilin Province, just finished an "immersive trip". Because the school is in the northeast, spring comes late every year, and Wu Yakun and his classmates meet to Hangzhou to experience spring in advance. On the first day in Hangzhou, several people walked from Falling Star Mountain to the West Lake, and it was already dark after climbing the mountain and visiting the lake. The next day's trip began in the afternoon, "climbing the tea mountain in Longjing Village and staying all afternoon." Such slow travel made Wu Yakun feel that every cell in his body was fully relaxed.

In addition to the different forms of travel, college students' travel plans also have their own characteristics. 34.0% of the surveyed college students planned in detail and made sufficient strategies; 60.9% of the surveyed college students will make simple travel planning and roughly conceive travel strategies; Another 5.1% of surveyed college students tend not to plan and "take a trip that is just going."

"Food connoisseur" and "travel photographer" are all meanings of travel

According to a survey conducted by the youth school media, 77.4% of the surveyed college students believe that the significance of travel is to broaden their horizons and increase their experience.

Wu Yakun is one of them. Although 2023 is not yet halfway through, Wu Yakun has already checked in Haikou, Sanya, Hangzhou, Shenyang, Qinhuangdao and other cities. In her eyes, travel is a way to "gain insight". "Make new connections outside of your own living space and see what other places are like. What the mountains are, what the water is, what the houses are, what the people are, enrich your feelings and experiences. ”

While seeking physical and mental progress, 76.9% of the surveyed college students believe that travel is a good opportunity for leisure and relaxation; 69.8% of the surveyed college students are more concerned about tasting food and enjoying their own food. 34.2% of the surveyed university students are willing to meet playmates and broaden their communication during travel. 27.1% of the university students surveyed saw travel as a way to calm their minds.

According to the survey conducted by the youth school media, the types of tourist attractions preferred by the surveyed college students were diverse, with 77.3% of the respondents enjoying the beautiful scenery of mountains and seas. 63.5% of the respondents liked the characteristic neighborhoods and food streets of various cities; 57.0% of the respondents like to visit places of interest.

After several "happy trips", Wu Yakun found that his wallet was "getting thinner and thinner". A survey by the youth school media found that 74.3% of the surveyed college students spent money on local food; In addition, tickets to major scenic spots (43.8%), accommodation hotels (37.3%), surrounding attractions, souvenirs (26.3%), clothing (19.5%), and travel equipment such as hiking and climbing (9.1%) were also the key areas of tourism consumption of the surveyed college students.

During the trip, Lin Yanping, from a university in Fujian, did not lack the "investment" in the food of the tourist place. Recalling the last time in the ancient city of Zhangzhou, Lin Yanping was most impressed by the local specialties - four-fruit soup and pistol legs. "When I went to Yundongyan to climb the mountain to relax, I also brought a special Yundongyan salt chicken."

Like Lin Yanping, every time she goes to a different city, Hong Shuyun will go to the local vegetable market, chat with the owner, and ask them to recommend several local authentic dishes for themselves.

57.6% of the surveyed college students define themselves as "food connoisseurs" in travel. Travel photographers (45.6%), money-saving experts (36.7%), leisure and fun (35.8%), etc., are all labels given by them.
