The Secretary of State for the Social and Solidarity Economy and Community Life, Marlène Schiappa, is on the front page of the erotic magazine "Playboy" on newsstands this Saturday. A choice tackled by Prime Minister Elisabeth Borne who considered that it was "not at all appropriate". What do we discover in this issue and why is it shocking?

It's an amazing communication strategy. After the interview of Olivier Dussopt in Têtu, Emmanuel Macron in Pif Gadget, Marlène Schiappa is on the front page of the latest issue of the erotic magazine Playboy, available from Saturday in newsstands. A choice that is debated and offends even the Prime Minister.

Sexual freedom, feminism, seduction...

There is substance and form. Six photos are in A4 format to accompany the six pages of interviews. Whether in a tight dress or suggestive drapery, French flag in hand and hair in the wind, Marlène Schiappa poses in red train, transparent blue dress or white veil. Unheard of for a minister.

Without any taboo, she evokes sexual freedom, feminism or seduction. Everything goes there, even the allusions to her erotic books of which she says she is proud. Inspired by actress Pamela Anderson, in her own words, Marlène Schiappa wants to see this interview as a sign of emancipation, and calls on all women to do what they want.

A bad choice?

A communication strategy violently criticized in the government, starting with the Prime Minister who condemns a coverage "not at all appropriate" in the current context. The same tone is expressed by the Minister for Gender Equality, Isabelle Rome, who stings the irresponsibility of Marlène Schiappa and says that Playboy "will never be the ally of women".
