Belgian singer Stromae cancelled six dates of his tour in France in two weeks, including three in Nantes. Back on stage in the summer of 2022 after a long period of absence related to a burn-out and the difficult pace of his career, the state of health of the 38-year-old artist worries his fans again.

The Belgian singer Stromae currently on tour must still give up this week three concerts in Nantes, after having already had to cancel three dates last week, announced Wednesday his producers. "The state of health of Stromae does not allow him again to ensure the three concerts scheduled this week at the Zenith of Nantes, from March 29 to 31. We are therefore forced to cancel these three performances," Auguri Productions said in a statement.

The week before, the Strasbourg and Amnéville concerts had also been cancelled. The 38-year-old from Brussels, very popular in France, is currently on a European tour to promote his album "Multitude", released a year ago. He returned to the stage in the summer of 2022 after a long period of absence caused by burn-out and depression when he had chained concerts for the album of his consecration, "Racine Carrée", released in 2013.

The artist has not yet spoken.

Last week, its producers had justified by "medical reasons", without further details, the cancellation of three concerts in the east of the France. A situation that necessarily worries his fans, despite the disappointment of not being able to attend the highly anticipated performances. On social networks, they are also many to wish a "good recovery" to their idol. For his part, Stromae did not speak.

Stromae, whose real name is Paul Van Haver, is one of the French-speaking artists who sells the most music in the world. He shone in February at the Victoires de la musique chart: "Multitude" was crowned best album and himself male artist of the year. In early January 2022, the artist had made a remarkable comeback by unveiling his song "L'enfer" on TF20's 1-hour news. A song that spoke of the violent period of depression and suicidal thoughts that the artist had experienced.
