"Longyou Wenku" is actually a historical encyclopedia of Gansu, which is a collection of all the words recorded in various materials in Gansu before Gansu (1949), and today it is a general collection.

【Commentary】Recently, as a Gansu Province Huaxia Civilization Inheritance and Innovation Zone, one of the important sub-libraries of the 10-year major project "Longyou Wenku", "Book Library" and "Fang Zhi Library (II)" were officially published. Our main work in 2023 is to complete the compilation and sorting of this "Longyou Wenku" Jinshi Archive, and at the same time, we will also start several other sub-databases, such as our Dunhuang Archive, Jianmu Archive, Excavated Literature, and Minority Languages Literature and Archives, which are all sub-libraries that we will launch at the same time in 2023.

【Commentary】Nowadays, in the Gansu Province Ancient Book Compilation Center, more and more young people have joined it, according to the staff of the compilation center, the compilation and sorting of ancient books not only requires professional knowledge, but also the interest and hobbies of this work.

Bai Deyun, director of the Literature Compilation and Research Office of the Gansu Provincial Center for Ancient Book Compilation and Compilation

Through these two years of work here, my deep feeling is that first of all, you must have a certain interest and hobby in this job, plus you have the corresponding professional knowledge, so that you can do this business relatively stably and for a long time.

In the process of promoting the Longyou Bunku project, I was mainly responsible for the processing of a plate in the early stage and the typesetting of the book. Although the work is a bit boring, for me personally, I think it is very meaningful to be fortunate enough to participate in the work of Longyou Bunko.

According to Gao Guoxiang, the construction of the digital resource platform of Longyou Library will be launched simultaneously this year. Using modern scientific and technological means, the original documents are deeply processed, and the traditional paper book content is formed into a "digital library". This move aims to continue the ancient and modern language chain and reading chain, so that young people can understand the essence and wisdom of the ancestors, and make ancient documents "ancient for modern use".

The digital platform of Longyou Library has several characteristics, the first feature is to put all of our existing published and paper literature resources into the data platform. This is free to open to the society, so that more people to learn more people to study, then we have a complete understanding of the history and culture of Gansu. For example, these things that we have today cannot be understood by ordinary people except professional scholars. So how to pass this on? So we have to build a bridge in a way, so what about this bridge, for example, through some annotations to the original documents, some punctuation of the original documents, and some other means, so that today's people can read some of the works of our ancestors (characters) in the past, some of the ideas of our ancestors (characters).
